Dear Fellow Members,
AoA.
I hope all of you would be doing great. Last week, a friend of mine visited me after like 2 years. He was on his Suzuki GS150 bike which he bought in summers of 2010. I am not a bike freak but had strong crush on this bike when it was launched back in 2005 i guess.
I had a ride on his bike and somehow fell in love and within 15 minutes i had decided to get this bike for me. My family opposed my decision as bike is of no use to me. But still i stand firm on my decision
The very next day, i gathered all the information from different Suzuki dealers in Lahore on phone, but sadly none of them had GS150 in stock (it was really a surprise for me that GS150 is short in market. I thought Suzuki is not much popular brand in market). Anyways, the very next day I got a call from Suzuki Shalimar Gardens (S.G Suzuki) that there truck is on its way and few 150s are on it. I asked for Black colour and he said that he will confirm it in morning. Next day, i need to get my car A/C serviced from Mall road. I was on my way to workshop when i got the call from same guy that he has got 1 GS150 in black colour. I took a turn and went to Suzuki S.G motors straight away.
Saw the bike lot and there it was! standing in between a lot of few bikes which were recently offloaded by a truck. While i was inspecting the bike, 2 more people came and asked for the same black coloured GS150 but the dealer refused as i had assured him on phone that im gonna buy this. I paid him Rs. 5,000 on spot as i didnt have the full money. Came back to home, took my cheque book and went to bank. Got cash, picked my cousin and went to dealership again to get the delivery.
The bike was washed till then and the mechanics were doing the PDI. Got some basic information regarding bike while it was been checked. By 5pm in evening, the bike was handed over to me
Following are the details:

My Experience:
As told earlier, i am not a bike freak as my daily driving is on car. So far i have drove it for 50 KMs in 6 days. Believe you me, this bike is great in handling and acceleration. As its a new bike, i am very cautious about its running period. Have not accelerate it above 60km/h. Its driving angle and seating position is great. Much much better than its rivals CG125 classic.
The cons are; bike is heavy-but its good for handling. Many peoples asked me that this bike has pathetic resale, high fuel consumption and very high maintenance cost. But who cares when this is not gonna a daily driven vehicle. Its equipped with drum brakes which i believe should be discs, keeping in view the power.
Please recommend some nice upgrades and also share your experiences.
Now come to main point; the pics
