HELLO GUYZ I WANNA KNOW ABT THE CONSUMPTION OF XLi COROLLA & HOW IS THE DRIVE OF IT JUST LIKE THE OLD GL/XE oR A LITTLE CHANGE.
Hi I have driven new XLi for 900 kms and it gave me 12.8km/litres or can say 13km/lit. The ride is nice and you feel as if driving a powerful engine. Much better than previous new XEs which I have driven. I think, the fuel average would further improve as the engine is slightly over RPM currently
salam, how r u,.so xli,it has got superb accelaration like a rocket i driven that but it has no road grip at all.it is dangerous in corolla to turn over 80.it does 13-14km in a liter
i agree with F1....the consumption is abt 12-13km/ltr.....and on hiways its even better...the drive is smooth.......and yes the road grip is not all that great....the ride becomes a bit uncomfortable above 100 kmph
tell me one thing F1...does SE SALOON has the same road grip as XLi'scheerz
hi usman_20 ya se saloon isa 1.6L.andit has some exterior and interior and engine things that makes saloon a bit good in grip then civic but not same os civic vti
hi usman_20 how r u.ok u asked about saloon so saloon has 1.6L engine and couples of things because of increasing power and aerodynamically side skirts so saloon is a bit good in grip than xli but not good as vti
Se saloon may has a slight lesser grip than a vti but 2D saloon is best road gripper due to its extra mass; as it has a 2L diesel engine which makes it much heavier than any other local petrol car. Also greater torque of diesel engine enhances the road grip
SE Saloon can give u best ever road grip. All u have to do is to use alloy rims & 195-65-15 yokohama tyres. This is my personal experience.
HI friends the road grip issue of XLi can be resolved by replacing stock General tyres with Dunlop or Yokohama tyres. The first thing I did after getting car out of showroom was to replace the tyres. I installed Yokohama ASPEC A-300 tyres which are extremely noiseless and give an excellent grip. One of my friend who had an accident on his new Baleno advised me to replace General tyres asap because it was the same reason for his accident. He applied brakes and the car rammed into a jeep in front despite a pretty safe distance.
that wasn't becoz of tyres....
it was becoz of thakeleeeee......
for XLi yeah tyres do matter as it make it skids after getting the pedal pressed for few seconds.
this problem is it even in SE SALOON AUTO.
ROAD GRIP ALSO MATTERS ON TYRES U R RIGHT
when it comes to road grip, ofcourse ur tyres r the 1st thing to be considered. General tyres r the enemies of ur life. I myself used the general tyres with my 2D saloon. They really demonstrate a poor quality. Now i have replaced them with Bridgestone and the difference is there.
yes you people are rite....general tires sucksssssss grip and it also grinds in less time.....early the japanese Bridgestone tires come and i put them in my starlet man what a tyres but now japan is not exporting it bridgestone is importing from some other country but is much better than ur general ones......Thanxxx
