Thanks guys for your support. I had my Revo's first 1000 kms service yesterday. The good thing was that there were people from AMC along with the Dealer's staff and were very competent and helpful. I shared the following problems:
Hard steering, Horn problem, moisture in one of the headlights, RPM adjustment, etc
Most of the problems were solved; they promised to replace the headlight but couldn't do anything for steering. As per them it gets smoother gradually.
Some other feed back:
A UAE Co has aquired equity (45/50 %)
Steering is being changed.
Improving quality of interior, meter, rubber parts, etc
Price may increase by 20k.
Production of 1000 cc might stop.
Enhanced attention to customer's problems and feedback.
I feel, we need to trust the 'TATA inspired' CEO of AMC, Mr Feroz Khan. As a businessman, he wants to do 'business' and earn money but on top of it he wants to provide an affordable, comfortable, safe and durable car to a typical lower/middle class Pakistani family. I hope our trust is not shattered.
