Salam Alaykum, I have a toyota corolla 1.8 altis cruisetronic which has been experincing shifting problems when it shifts from 3rd to 4th. There is hard jerk felt when it shifts into 4th gear otherwise its fine, occasionally the shifting does subside but then it relapses again. I had the engine oil changed from toyota capital motors islamabad 20k km ago, battery reset has been done numerous of times.
Recently when it started again i took it to toyota rawal, they examined the issue through the i.t tester etc, but couldn't decipher a reason they sprayed a transmission sensor with wd40 also still no resolve. Their suggestion was to change the oil. Again. Have taken it to another mechanic to f10 said the same thing that the oil needs to be changed that MIGHT solve the problem. I would greatly appreciate advice and input from fellow members. Also if someone knows the experts who arent ripoffs and are trustworthy i'd appreciate that too.
