Yeah, watched the premiere episode. The positives were the car's color scheme change while its on the run and the video quality. Other than that, I really wish they had picked a comparable car.
This Mustang is really a retro from the 1960s. Even a civic can be tricked up more and look more Sporty than an old retro return from 60s. I know it had to be an American car, so why they didn't go for Corvette, that would have been best choice, if not, then Viper, or maybe even a Sports Pick Up from 2008, would have looked alot more appealing than a 1960s revived sportster..
Maybe Ford won the bid for pitching up the money for this pilot project. I was sick of seeing all the Fords in the first episode. 90% of the cars on the streets and highways were Fords or the cars owned by Ford, like Volvo, etc...
LoL
This time around its more about Ford promo. than a thriller adventure the original Knight Rider was...Although they also had a pact with Pontiac, but in none of their shows would you be bombarded with Pontiacs.
The Ford Advertisement Commercials in between are the cherry on top..
This show should be re-named Ford Rider, rather than Knight Rider...
All it comes down to now, is Corporations running America, not like it used to be till 1980s.. when they made REAL adventurous TV series that kept the general public tuned in and at the cente. Now its the Corporations that get to decide what people SHOULD see and ultimately BUY, and not what they want to see and choose to buy.
Talk about Corporate dictatorship...
