Raja Motor Company launched FIAT Uno in Pakistan in 2001. Since then, they haven't come up with any new models, though they announce each year on Italy's national day (June 2) that they will soon lauch two or three more FIat models in Pakistan, which will include a sedan (Siena) and a new hatchback.
Although UNO sold reasonably in the first year, but its sales figures have been dwindling since then. Despite launching some very attractive leasing packages last year in association with Bank of Punjab (as low as 5%), the sales couldn't pick up again.
Raja Motor Company has plenty of idle capacity at their assembly plant. When UNO is not appealing to the tastes of Pakistani motorists, I wonder why they are not utilizing their plant for launching newer and attractive models of FIAT, or they could even have leased their plant to some other investors.
