:oGuys some one stole the both side mirrors of my civic oriel 2007 at Mcload road, lahore after when i parked it. Thank God it was insured. Otherwise the new one costs 38000(Both).
Now ill go tomorrow to get new ones.
But the question was does that makes my car non-genuine and lowers its price??

u never had any security system installed ?? i heared there are tracking devices which sms u if any one touches ur car ?? is that true????

these cost 16000 per 1 i.e 32,000 for a pair!!!! sheesh!!! (VTI ORIEL) (VTI ones are 10k each)

If u go to B.G then u can get a pair for even less then 15000rs depending on the condition..... without 10 or 20% charges frm the insurance company......

I have an alarm which comes with 2 features:

1. Impact detection. i.e Someone tapping on doors or operating door handels

2. I'm not entirely sure how this works, but the second switch turns on a mode that sounds an alarm when anyone gets close to the car.

We had this installed in my father's van (which I now currently drive) back in 1994. I'll try to find out what company it is.

Are there any alarms like/similar to this in Pakistan?
