Want to buy: VW Beetle pre-1967 model: Cash Waiting

My only requirement is that it must be in original and unmolested condition.
No 'restored', modified or previously welded cars, please.
Ideally a ragtop sunroof or an older model.
LHD or RHD, any city registration.
Missing or incomplete documents not a problem.
Any location in Pakistan. Would also consider a pre-1967 VW Bus (Split Screen).

Preferably as follows:

• In factory (first) paint with original interior
• With original floors and body panels and VIN tag present
• With original engine and transmission (matching nos)
• As complete as possible
• Standing or non-running/rough/scrap cars are fine if they meet these criteria.

They do come up for sale every so often however most have been repaired at one point or another. Its highly unlikely that a car, after all these years (unless it was parked away and forgotten) has not been tinkered with resulting in one of the conditions that the buyer has laid. I am presently restoring a 1965 one owner car that has a matching engine number (never opened), original paint save for a side, original floors (rusted but original) original interior (the dogs peed in it for a few years but original) ..however the car was T-boned at some point and was badly repaired. Now this car would not meet the buyers criteria (if it was for sale , and it is not). Bottom line is that you should be happy if a car that fulfils most of your requirements is found...if you look for all you may be a long time waiting..

I have not heard about "barn finds" in Pakistan, in western countries it do happen... I have read somewhere on vcccp page that the government has allowed the import of classic cars... don't know the details... VCCCP members might have some details about it.. if it is true, try finding a car in west and bring it to Pakistan..

Agreed, it is like finding a needle in the haystack - but one has to begin from somewhere. I'm not dogmatic with my criteria of course, and somewhat flexible given that I'm searching for a project in Pakistan.
@nasir, your '65 sounds quite a bit like Reezvaan's pearl white '65, but I suppose that car was already a daily runner when bought (I regret not buying it when I had the opportunity 2 years back).

Any info from any sources will be highly appreciated.
