Need advice: Cultus, Liana, Alto or Lancer?

Hi everyone!!!

I am really tight on budget about 700k rupees.I need advice on which used car to go for.I am actually biased towards liana or lancer or may be cultus,I dont like alto at all.
any advice on which one of these cars should i go for??

Thats a big choice list.
You have to outline your requirements first, then shortlist your cars.

Clean Cultus 2008 Model less then 50,000 driven is for 750,000
Clean Cultus 2008 Model 70,000+ driven is for 725,000
Clean Liana RXi 2006 - 2008 Model 75,000+ driven is for 575,000 - 650,000
Clean Liana LXi 2007 - 2008 Model 75,000+ driven is for 700,000 - 775,000
Dont knw about Lancer as these are few...

well i have found out that lancer is very rare and parts are a bit expensive and there are no mitsubishi service centers and lancer is discontinued(not sure about that). so it is just CULTUS or LIANA now. I'll prefer power windows ,power steering etc which liana has but i have heard a lot about it..."Dont buy liana...its a mess...takes you to workshop every other day etc etc"
I have had a cultus before...i like it and its reliable...mostly i'll be driving in city.....daily commute is max 15-20km but mostly it is 6km(going to college and back) .but i would like to buy a liana because it has all the goodies...
So what do u say??

Mostly i drive to college and back...mostly this is it..... because we also have a swift at home and after returning home i mostly drive that . So u can say i need a car to drive to college and back which is almost 6km daily..(to college and back) so fuel economy is not a problem for me . Lancer is very rare ...parts are expensive and no mitsubishi service center(i havent seen one). suzuki has 3s showrooms in every main area.
Alto..i dont like it...and it has been discontinued like cuore..
Cultus ... we have had one before ...2007 efi....its good and reliable..but doesnt have power windows etc and its steering is awfully heavy...
so i am pretty biased towards liana....but most of the people say it is not reliable....etc etc..but it'll be cheaper than cultus..and will have all the goodies....

And i'll also drive on highway but rarely...maybe once in every 2 or 3 months....

So these are my needs or requirements

so what do u say Cultus or LIANA??

plus i know i can buy a zero meter MEHRAN in this budget and it is almost suited to my needs ...but that is the last thing i would buy on earth...i'll rather buy and ride a horse than drive a mehran
SANTRO....i can buy one in this budget but cultus is a whole lot better than santro ....and i dont want to buy a chevrolet JOY either...and Daihatsu Cuore...we have had a Cx automatic for last 9 years and i myself drove it for 5 years but recently sold it ....its drive was good actually and steering was light...but i am not willing to buy another cuore because it is overpriced and i can get a cultus in that price which is much better plus Cuore has been dincontinued.....
I like the japenese ones...Ek wagon is my favorite but most of these decent japenese cars are way out of my budget... . the ones that i can get in my budget such as mira or alto have 75000+ on odo and will need serious maintenance at 100k km and parts wont be easily available so i;ll just stick to a local made car...
SO u can say i have reviewed all of my options. and have narrowed it down to "Cultus or LIANA"

plus i'll keep the car for next 3 or 4 years so resale wont be a problem either..

For City drive, go for Cultus, Focus on the VXL variant. In city small car is good as some times there can be parking issues. In Pakistani Cars, Cultus is the best which i found in 1000 cc category.

Actually my route is from model town to Allama iqbal medical college so parking...car size...rush hour... none of these is going to be my problem at all.....i wont be taking this car to canal road..mall road etc or other crowded places...mostly i'll be driving it within the premises of model town....so how about LIANA??

About Liana, i spoke to Suzuki Mini Motors Gulberg employees they said NO (As a mind set) i asked them why. They said no re-sale i said ok i wil not sale. Next??? They dont have anyother reason for it. Im also searching for a good Liana but try to find a less driven as aft 100,000 km Liana on CNG starts giving mechanical problems (As per Suzuki Mini Mortors technicians) parts are a bit expensive but if u drive with car it wont b a problem for u. So search for two Liana's 1 for me and 1 for urself

Go for Liana or Lancer dont go for Cultus ..my personal Advice ..

If u find a good condition liana then buy it otherwise cultus vxli
Lancer is a very good car but its spare parts are expensive and normaly students can't aford it
Best car for students is cultus in my opinion

bro buy a cultus vxli. (power windows,steering)
dont buy liana , once my mechanic said 2 me "Bhai G Liana koi 4lac ki b dy to na lena" . and every mechanic has the same feeling for Liana dont know y so if you r spending 700k then its better to choose a car wisely... Best of Luck

Then Liana is good. More comfortable than cultus and awesome drive.
You can find a decent liana in your budget. Model from 2006-2007
And yes it is harvey specter in my dp. Hope you like it.

Did you ask your mechanic why not ? Because he and most of the road side mechanics cant fix it
they dont have proper tools and diagnostic equipment and they blame the car by discouraging people to buying it same is the case with Lancer and FYI Lancer and Liana are comfortable cars with good power and features than Corolla and City (2003-2008)

@OP In this budget i would advise you to get a Liana but make sure that the car is properly maintained
or if your concerned about resale then get a Cultus but i am doubtful that you would find a good EFI Cultus VXLi in your budget that too in Lahore

Hi guys... I need your expert advise on Liana. Im purchasing Liana RXi model 2009 Mileage 66000 directly from Suzuki(6 months warranty) for about 795k. Its in very good condition and my brother have checked it thoroughly.

Its my very first car and i have read mixed reviews online over here another forums and my friends too have been telling me that this car does not have any resale value here in Karachi and that we dont have proper mechanics over here in case if something needs to get fixed.

I wont sell this car for atleat 3-4 years plus only I will use it myself.

Plssss I desperately need advise on this before I finalize my deal.
