    Default 07 Vitz CNG

i heard from a CNG workshop that the new vitz 05 and up models work perfectly well on CNG? is that true?

as far as i know since its an underpowered car, it really is messed up when AC is turned on and running on CNG.

any one with 05-07 vitz and CNG? are you guys facing the same problem or is it working ok?

reason for asking is that the only thing stopping me from buyin the car is CNG lufra...

    well, i've got a 2007 black Vitz.
the sound of the engine is louder as compared to other cars because of this one being a 3 cyl engine. also becuase the engine bay is small, so the engine is a bit more closer inwards. but after a while you will get used to it.
The new shape esp. in BLACk looks just amazing. and keep it on Petrol. dont go for CNG. Average is amazing too. Check out my ride. its just amazing.

and the newer model vitz is a VVT-I engine. Even though it doesnt say under the hood but you make sure it is a VVT-i. It is a 1KR-FE engine. according to wiki it has 4 cylinders per valve, and its a VVT-i. Just google 1KR-FE and go to Wiki and you will know more about this engine.

My man CNG no CNG in CNG car like vitz gives you mechincal problem in may be 6 months and on petrol it might give after 1 year so your first question is solved secondly 2005 is known as second generation car why because The previous 4-cylinder 1.0 VVT-i engine was replaced by the 3-cylinder engine also found in the Toyota Aygo and Daihatsu Sirion. The 1.3 liter engine was revised to offer slightly more power, and the 1.4 D-4D got a 15 PS (11 kW) boost to 90 PS (66 kW), the former engine allowing it to achieve exceptional fuel economy.
