    Default Vitz key heatup

    Made new duplicate key for my vitz 06 model itz working fine but when after one hour drive i came back home and put off the key i noticed switch was very hot and key also is that normal or something wrong with duplicate key which i made today ??? Waiting for ur precious comment in this regards!

    bro...my car keys also get hot after a while (i also have duplicate key)...i have cultus 2009 EFI...i believe its normal...experts comments awaited though!

    Check it by driving with the original key. it will eliminate the doubt. if problem persists then there is a wiring issue somewhere which requires to b diagnosed at priority otherwise keep a fire extinguisher handy to put out the fire.

    Fire extinguisher??? why are u scaring him? i've been facing this for almost a year now. but the question is...is it really a problem?

    Sorry to b too scary. The OP said "too hot". If it really meant toooo hot then something is wrong. Keep ur nose open to smell any burning wire. Just in case.

    infact mine is not too hot but a little hot...may be becoz of the AC it feels a little hot!
