    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

EDIT :: friends COROLLA not Baleno.
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

    hi guys!!

How are you all? hope everyone's fine.

I need a suggestion from you guys. I had purchased Dunlop EC201 185/65/R14 few months back, the drive with these tires was fine but i'm really disappointed with its quality. Two of the tires got big bubble on sides.

I'm thinking to change them, i've few names in my mind like Bridgestone, Yokohama & Pirelli.

Could you please suggest me which size tyre should i buy and which company (including product name) is better choice for me?

My driving style is: I drive fast on g.t road, i pass through duggy roads etc..

What i want is: less noise, no force on my car, smooth and good grip.

Waiting for your suggestions, specially from Storm bhai.

    Bro, go for bridge stone potenza G III. 185 / 65 / 14.
Yokohama C drive in same size.
Both are best drive and less noisy.
And you wont see above stated problems INSHALLAH.

nice ride Mashallah but please post these pics in alto club or if you're interested in selling it, click on My Pakwheels and put your car ad.

    @killervtec

thanks bro for your suggestion, i would love to buy bridgestone but i searched for potenza g111, many people said these are good tires but they complained about following things:
Too Noisy... (Which i don't want)
sidewalls splits (cracks, torn or whatever you say)

are you using these tires? if so, are you facing above problems? I'll research on yokohama ones, meantime any more suggestions and if you've any ideas about the price?

Bro in my vitz i have singa radial brand new, i got them with the car. when ever i change i will buy C-Drive because its a good tire. Many of friends using them and satisfied

    In my civic 97 i use dunlop sp sport 9000 195 / 55 / ZR 15, which i use for racing.

    U may go for dunlop sp sport 490 (185 / 65 R 14). it a very good tire also.

MashaAllah u got nice vitz the only prblem in ur car is SATIANOS lolz hope u got it.

The major reason for lag is bigger tyres.Im also facing similar problem since iv installed 15s.And i dont think so these cars need computer tunning simply reset ecu by removing battery cables. Also put some Hi Octane after 2 3 fills atleast it will improve the things

bro i'm really fed up with dunlop! won't buy in future, already tested eco 201.

I searched on google about both c-drive and bridgestone g3, the result i've concluded is, both are almost similar regarding their features, but bridgestone have long life as compared to yokohama, many users of yokohama said the tires are gone at 20-25k, i want the ones which could reach 50+ and many people have said that their bridgestone tires have done 60+. So, what i think is to go with bridgestone one, hope they are not too noisy.

Anyone has any idea about its price?

Sumitomo are the worst tires i have ever experienced.
My cousin put them in Nissan Sunny 2007 model and the tires couldnt resit beyond 15000 k kms. (Car being driven on roads of D.H.A lahore).

    @ raja 01
bro after seeing your quries u must then go for preille P 6000. Tires are a bit expensive but will ful fill all your demands.

U r rite bro. I got my car checked and found out that my cars engine is in a perfect condition but the clutch and pressure plates has become 7/10. Thats why car slows down on up shifts.

I am also going for 15s very soon as my car is manual.

manual or auto, it makes no difference. your tyres are too big and too far from the manufacturers specs & tollerances. anyhow contact zubair for a checkup (number given in last post).

    Glad to see u back.

    @All

Last week 80k-service done for my 2002 vitz, from Toyota Rawal Motors. Following work has been done:

    1. Oil, oil filter and air filter replaced. (I use Zic A+ with Guard filters, Costs Rs. 1500)

    2. Changed Sparc Plugs, Denso 16....(cant exactly recall) (Costed Rs. 1000)

    3. Changed Drive Belt. (Costed Rs. 1300)

    4. Changed Fuel Filter. (Costed Rs. 3160).

    5. Put Injector cleaner fluid in Fuel Tank (costed Rs. 1400)

In addition to above, cleaned throtle body, checked suspension (front/rear), Breaks servicing, allignment and balancing. In total I have paid Rs. 9500.

Before above tuneup my car was giving 18-19/km wihtout AC on long drives. Have not calculated it after service, but I'm sure it would be even better.
