    Default Toyota Vitz Owners/Fan Club

The purpose of this post is to gauge the interest in forming a Toyota Vitz Owners Club in different cities of Pakistan. As we all know that Vitz has become quite popular in the last year or so. More and more people are buying it or are interested to know more about it. The purpose of the club would be to share technical / operational information regarding the car. As well as help fellow members with different issues regarding the everyday running of the car. There would be regular meets and get together as well as cruises. The criteria to join the club would be to own a Vitz and a desire to help and share information with fellow members. I myself am based in Karachi, so I can take the lead in taking off this project here. Other can do the similar thing in their respective cities. If there is enough interest, a formal charter / by-laws would be issued with club rules and regulation as well as its mission statement. The club would operate under the same rules & conditions as other international car clubs. To take this project off the ground, I believe 10 people in each city would be the minimum requirement. If anyone from Karachi is interested in being a part of this club, please email me at danyal1@hotmail.com. Pakwheelers from other cities can share their email addresses under this post if they are willing to take the lead for their respective cities. I hope to this see become a success someday and a model for other to follow. LETS MAKE IT HAPPEN GUYS!!!

coming to the swap story. can you post a picture of your engine bay please? and is swapping a 2nzfe a good idea. my car is 125000 driven. rock solid engine. no issues whatsoever but looking forward to better accleration. 1 szfe sometimes feels a bit underpowered.
and Do you mind sharing the breakdown of the total cost? You can PM me too.
and lastly, which motor do you recommend provided that youve already experienced a swap.
i have shared my experiences with pictures through out this thread from pages 486 onwards....you can read them for more help and info

I would recommend 1NZ-FE swap as 1NZ-FE and 2NZ-FE motors both will cost you the same amount of money then why not go for more power.....Plus 2NZ-FE will NOT give you any powerful feeling after 1SZ but will provide you with better mileage thats it....1NZ however will provide better mileage, A POWERFUL FEELING, so much better acceleraion....but after the swap you will have to take extra care of what you feed the car and who gets to drive it...

Could not get any help here, and why is this problem with Vitz, is it, the sensors or loose wirings, so have just been avoiding from the bottom and letting it be clean by hands, when taken for a body wash...

If it comes on and off on a bump it could be a simple loose grip in the panel get it scanned. If no codes show up its a loose grip nothing else don't worry. Had the same issue with my 2002 Vitz it was just a loose grip under the meter. Later again the issue came up but that time the sensor had broken got a replacement for 1500 I guess
Get over the fact that Xli lacks power windows, Its an Xli because it lacks thoose features or else it would be a Gli or an Altis if had all the goodies.

When I bought the car, previously its owner had installed 195-55-15(Dunlop) and after driving round in these tires, I felt the steering to be a bit light stiff and Avg fluctuating in between the 9-13Km / l.
And then, if I should go towards better tires,Which one you guys suggest?

Imran that tyre size will cause frequent hits on speedbrakers as @zeak lives in Khi.
Moreover he will have to change his Rim size (added kharcha)
@zeak .. bro go for 175/65 R15 , which is also the recommended tyre size.

Default Mileage dropped since fuel prices were reduced

Has anyone noticed that since fuel prices were dropped from Rs78 mileage has dropped and car doesnt runs as it used to run before?
My vitz 1kr-fe has started giving 10Km/l... Nothings wrong with the tuning coz it easily touches 170 on the motorway... Inside the city its giving around 10 and on long at 120Km speed its giving 16km... Previously it used to give close to 20kms....

Perhaps low octane fuel with low calorific value mixed up to make profit. Typical Pakistani business man approach adopted to be wealthy over night by cheating.
