    Question Removing Catalytic Converter

My friend has suggested removing the catalytic converter of my vitz 2010. According to him the Cat conerter is for foriegn grade fuels and in pakistan it does not function well due to bad quality of fuel. Once the catalytic converter stops working properly my engine will start knocking then it will be too late to remove the converter......

is my friend right ? :s should i be removing the catalytic converter when everything seems to be running well for now?

I don't recommend Breaking Catalytic Converter. I got mine cleaned and is very satisfied after because pick and power is improved plus the Throw from silencer is very much increased.

You should Give it a try and then decide whether to break the CAT or get it cleaned.
