Yes you are right brother and i am thankful to Allah that i am owner of a new car as i had cultus before and wagon r is a definite upgrade from cultus( power steering, immobilizer, better AC,low fuel consumption, better sitting position as i have pain in my left knee, comfortable drive, two power windows and more spacious for rear passenger, only drawback i feel is that driver and passenger seats of cultus were more comfortable with moveable headrest and being a bit softer). I had the budget to go for Swift DX but i dropped it only because of high fuel consumption compared to wagon r as i dont want to install CNG, there is no point in purchasing a new car and straight away converting it to CNG thus voiding warranty. As you mentioned that you didnt want to waste your money on a newly launched car as it will fail as history or record suggests, so why dont you and me become first drop of rain (:p) and buy something cheap but yet with superior features. The companies you mentioned if got success at that time, we would be having great competition in market now. So a result of this competition the pakistani Wagon R could have been at least like indian wagon r with ABS,retractable side mirrors, rear headsets and alloy rims. I pray for V2 success too as much as i want wagon r to be a success at least i want to have competition in car market as we consumers will be the prime beneficiaries but sadly i havent seen a single v2 in peshawar but round about a dozen wagon r on roads being lesser than zero meter cultus and mehran.
