Salam all out there, many friends have been waiting to c my cruiser on road. Car is untuned and having few problems and above all shaft starts viberating at 140km/hr, getting it fixed now. Engine is at 80% performance at 100% u can imagine the results. PLS ENJOY.

1ST 2JZGTE WAS swaped but due to some wiring issue 1jzgte is swaped. I am driving the the cl9 accord while abdul jabbar my friend is on cruiser.

Firstly congrats on getting such an ambitious project on the road. Inspired me to pull out and update my engine comp worksheet and compare specs with the standard Toyota 4x4 engines (see below). Probably some inconsistencies as I have hurriedly used various sources and there are obviously variations on each model, do point out any major discrepencies anyone finds.

It appears that the engine/trans is working well with the diff ratios and the twin turbo engine is getting you something like 6-7 secs 0-100kms. I do suspect that you have the 4x4 disengaged and the rear shaft bolted onto the transmission without a transfer case, but us 4x4 ppl we would be pleasantly surprised if thats not the case.

In any case, I would recommend making a detailed post with details of conversion on PWs and also on international 4x4/Auto forums. Congrats to the owners and hats off to the mechanics who made this possible.

Bro 1st 2jzgte was in it and at that time 4x4was functional, but due to wiring issue it was replaced with 1jzgte. When raced with 1jzgte 4x4 transfer case was also removed, but guess what with that shafts alighnment went out and at 140 shaft viberates badly thats why u can c near 140 prado applied breaks and drag was called off, due to that 4x4 transfer case is being placed back and 4x4 is going to be functional in a day or 2.
I will start a topic indetail pls just let me get the project complited, people start project and start thread but i have bitter experiences in past, and i was right on that this project started on 10oct2009 and till end of january car was not on road with full power it has taken 5 months to bring the car on road.1jzgte swap completed in 1week but 2jzgte was completed in 15days but wiring and sencors made me and the mechanic mad. and after 4 months it was decided to put a simple thing that is not vvti. vvti has mass air flow and map sencors making u crazy.

No doubt it would be a fun jeep to drive, better than a V8.
