i am not sure, but 1989 model is somewhat special, jis mechanic kay pas jao, he immediately makes an offer, its the heaviest among all yamahas, n has the most beautiful road grip among all the yamaha i hav ever driven,,,, its acceleration is greater than even 125, uptil 1st 3 gears, it beats the **** out of 125, but 125 has greater rpm in 4th gear, so it lacks behind due to 25cc difference.

^^^^ Agree: She can eat up CG125 like a peanut. Ride her safe, I use to own 1988 & 1992 Yb100. both were the Rockets.

Kia baat hai janab aap ki, i bought YB100 Brand spanking new in 1992, used to go over 130 km/hour on it, still CG-125 used to beat me, dunno why, by the way i became a wheelie expert on that bike,
today when i recall the things i did when i was in ma teens it gives me goosebumps, back then i really did nt care about my family and i was so f..ing WRONG !

I know its exciting but drive safe,

I use to drive fast on my bike but one day i experianced flat rear tyre at 80 KMPH and i some how managed to control the damn bike but from that day i never tried to go above 70 Kmph.
Speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go.
