    Default Yamaha R25 unveiled

YAMAHA Pakistan, please don't keep us wait too long..

Yamaha is all set to join the 250cc motorcycle segment by launching the R25 in India next year, to compete with the likes of CBR 250R and the baby Ninja. The Japanese manufacturer recently unveiled the M1- based R25 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Yamaha R25 will be twin cylinder, making it a premium 250cc, compared to its Honda and Kawasaki rivals. The twin cylinder motor will be liquid-cooled and use an advance fuel injection system. The R25 borrows its styling from Yamaha?s M1 MotoGP machine, making it one of the best looking quarter-litre motorcycles.
The motorcycle uses a tubular chassis with telescopic front suspension and disc brakes at both the front and rear. ABS might be optional.
It is still not sure if Yamaha would sell the motorcycle with a twin cylinder engine or a single cylinder one. Considering Yamaha aggressive approach with R15, it would be safer to assume that the R25 will be a segment leading motorcycle, in terms of performance, competing with the likes of RC390, Ninja 300 and the Daytona 250.
The R25 is expected to belt out 28-30 horses and priced between 2.5- 3 lakh rupees.
    P.S. Rossi likes this bike..

I would buy it on the first day of its launch in Pakistan
provided that its priced between 4 and 4.5 lac
I am anxiously waiting for the legendary R15 and i will definitely be one of Yamaha's first customers of R15
The price should be between 2.3 to 2.5 lac max

3 lac INR means 5.25 lac PKR..... Well that brings it close(though still slightly cheaper) than the inazuma..... But we all remember the response that inazuma got
My point is, we need to understand that all over the world, the price of a premium quality 250cc Japanese bike equipped with the latest technology and gadgets is around 5.5-7 lacs, so we need to prepare ourselves mentally to accept these apparently high price tags

Sorry guys it's yamaha thread but I want to talk about suzuki recently Imported stuff why they just only selling here Inazuma in small cc category it's also bad luck that suzuki worldwide is not making gsxr in 250 cc category now my qustion regarding pak suzuki I think pak suzuki didn't do survey if they did where the he..ll is gsxr 600 cc one of the most loveable bike of bikers it's out of mind thing if they sell hayabusa what is the problem to import gsxr 600 category. So yes lets hope if yamaha comes there is a chance to see r 15 and r 25 & r6. And seen senario will be not like suzuki.

I would have bought inazuma if it were between 4 to 4.5 lacs but current price is just out of the world
All because of stupid Government and their import regulations
No one would buy it at 6.75 lac even if they were providing financing
They should experiment by lowering the price to say 4.5 lac then i will buy it for sure
It is good solid bike with really top of the line parts
Now coming back to R4 250 Yamaha
4.5 lac to 5 lac pkr will be the sweet spot for this bike

If its twin cylinder then the exhaust will generate a very beastly and addictive noise
Yamaha should make sure that R25 has enough low to mid range torque so that it can be used for commuting in traffic as well as lots of high end torque to have fun when you want to rev it to red line
