Waqas bhai, although it's a difficult and long thing to answer and a bit complicated too. I believe all 4X4's are good in their own capacity but it all depends how you use them and what for you have kept them. So i will try to explain how i found most of them.
As unlike the carpeted roads, all offroad terrains are different from each other, they need different vehicles to operate successfully. Weight of vehicle, engine power, type of engine (diesel/ petrol), wheel base, wheel travel and other offroading capabilities have a vast impact on the vehicle's performance.
Like currently i have three 4X4's. A suzuki LJ 50, a russian UAZ and a pajero junior. All are 180 degrees opposite to each other.
When you talk about my suzuki LJ 50, it performs very good in sand, slush and marshy area. Is economical and a perfect vehicle for daily drive where the distances are less. In hilly area, and on long distances, the drive become horrible.
The vehicle like pajero, BJ 60 and the bigger vehicles are bad on fuel, gives more pleasure on long distance drives, hilly areas and are sort of camping vehicles.
The UAZ being a thoroughbred, having easy mechanics involved, compact and strong vehicle. A bit heavy in weight but overall an excellent offroad vehicle.
And talking about my existing vehicles, i have always found myself not 100% satisfied from whatever i have and have always wanted to go for a change or modification in the existing set up. You might call it a bad habit or the desire for perfection. So far both the LJ and the UAZ are best in their own capacity. I have already planned some modifications in the UAZ and the LJ 50. Let's see how and when i go for those modifications.
