I honestly don't see the point of this thread. Not to crib the efforts made by the poster but we need to remember we live in a country where Suzuki upped the cc's of their Swift engines so that the government could extract extra money from regular buyers. This practice is not seen in the Indian market as yet. Maybe PakSuzuki struck a deal with the government so both could benefit but they clearly don't give a damn about the public and why should they? When we as a community don't demand to be treated fairly.... why would anyone bother to do that?
Like the poster above me has said, having SRS Airbags in cars must be MANDATORY at the very least and no car should be allowed on the road without them.
We do not know yet that Renault will not follow the same business model of selling us engine variants with slightly more cc's just so that our government can make a few bucks and how their after sales service will be.
Don't misunderstand me. Hoping that the buyers will be treated properly is always a given however given the current track record of any company that has come to Pakistan and started selling cars... the reality seems quite the opposite.
India currently offers more variants of cars of any company if you simply compare it with Pakistan.
Whereas in a few cases some companies here haven't even bothered to change the shape/model for decades.
The classic Mehran is a prime example of this.
Simply comparing the cars Renault offers in India and going from there is impractical in my opinion.
