Its not a big problem.The problem is its throwing the acid out of one chamber onto the car body.The level shouldn't be at the bottom edge of the opening where the cap inserts into the battery.A new battery is empty. The guy at the shop prepares
it for use by adding an appropriate amount of Sulphuric Acid into it. A customer should only top-up with distilled water at home and only up to the high mark not more than that.I am talking about the high line..
If battery is spilling out acid/water,if you have that gravity checking tube ,use that to suck the excessive distilled water or the best bet would be to go to any battery wala and ask him to that for you.Never ever exceed from that if you do the battery will react like this.AM sure that you have poured distilled/ water in it and exceeded that limit line.Since battery gets hot while charging and due to the heat of engine so, electrolyte expands and flows out of the battery.
