Finally someone who understands. Thanks boss for your understanding and thoughts.
When I buy something and spend time getting it installed, drilling up my room getting it cleaned from all the resulting dust and wrecking my head over placement the least I would expect is smooth free, acoustic bliss. Least of all do I expect it to work okay for a few days and then static resulting.
Another speed bump in the process was the installer had used crappy cheap holders (which were to hold the glass shelves on which the front two waist high speakers are) . I then had to go to a furniture shop and buy some brackets then get another drilling guy to come install the brackets use put the glass shelves back on do the speakers up etc......
As I look forward to putting on a thought provoking movie like Good Will Hunting least do I expect crazy static all throughout.
If you have ever read my name on Pakwheels before you will know I have a system in my car (from the entertainment section of threads) and generally like good sound.
My sensitive ears immediately picked up on the static and I was furious. I could not believe after all the effort there was another fly in the ointment so to speak.
And to second your statement indeed too few people question companies and their manufacturing these days and settle for less having paid top dollar prices. I for one do not want to be cheated out of my money. Not to mention the time and effort that went into installing. Was not as simple as just buying the system and putting the speakers in front of the LCD and eat marshmellows.
Anyways the system is mentioned earlier on in my thread it is t he latest Samsung
HT-F453HK 5.1Ch Karaoke DVD Home Entertainment System - GALLERY | SAMSUNG
So I paid good money for it and want some good stuff. Like you said it could very well be a wiring or a grounding issue. I mean f everything else is okay then this could be the issue. WHat I cant understand is that before in the first 4 days it was okay and then all of a sudden the static appeared.
And the speaker wires are nailed to the wall with clips in some areas and along with the woofer wire comes into the theatre system . But the wires are surrounded by other wires such as of the lcd , the tv cable , my media players, my cell phones etc......
What I have done though is to call the samsung dealer to my house tomorrow and to get it checked by him. If he is honest he will rectify the problem or tell me that this is normal in all systems but I dont think so.
Thanks though for all of your help.
it is appreciated and i will fill you in on the latest update.
