keeping in mind, the EV will be limited to your local use ONLY. The WLTP rating for the ZS EV is around 262KM. in real case scenario and in our market with higher ambient temperatures and traffic situations in our major metropolitan, I expect it be lower range. With overnight home charge, you will be able to drive it locally but with no charging network it does not go out of the city.
The markets where EV's are in abundance even over there buyers are skeptical about EV's even with larger charging infrastructure. Also we should know that car companies have invested billion of dollars in establishing the charging networks. We can not rely on regular petrol, stations to install electric chargers on their stations. Not everyone will install it. Any car company who want to bring EV, must first establish a charging network and maybe start from the metropolitan first and every charge station with at-least 10 to 12 points NOT like Go station where they installed just one point point and that too a level 2 charger.
The Go charger in Lahore which is 55Kwh charger will take 45 Minutes to fully charge the ZS EV, while the home charger will take 6 hours.
the price in UK is around 90,000 GBP before EV tax credit. after applying credit it is around the base model cost 25,500 GBP.
