recently came across Janan by J. and i simply fell for it. i really loved the scent- however, it did not last very long even during night time spraying. searched and it was for 5.5k in market. went to Boulton market (Karachi) and asked for attar of janan. he gave me a bottle for 400 rupees and wow it smells 101% same and equal (if not better) lasting as compared to original spray. so far so good
Bro Janan is one of many clones of Creed Aventus (I think the most copied fragrance in the history) and interestingly Janan is the only perfume which i had bought 4th bottle but now since its price is almost equal to Club de Nuit Intense Man (CDNIM) by Armaf which is known as best clone of Aventus so now I doubt i will buy Janan again. The only difference between Janan and CDNIM is that Janan is more fruity and CDNIM is more smoky. And yes u r right that since J Dot perfumes are mostly imitate bigger brand perfumes so clones of J Dot are easier to make and i also bought bloom attar from bottle gali and its almost 100% same as original and i hope u bought J Dot Attar oil from Golden Drop perfume shop???
nope. its inside a narrow street where alot of perfume shops exist. i buy form him since long. clones of Saeed Ghani are good too - totally worth the price
Asrar and Boruz series are also clones of high end niche perfume houses.
No not at allAnd just for information Asrar and Boruzz are not two different things…. Boruzz is a seriers by Rasasi that has two main categories one is Oudh al Boruzz which contains three fragrances in it 1)Asrar Indonesia 2) Rooh al Assam and 3) Abeer MalaysiaSecond category is Attar Al boruzz which contains 1) JAZEEBIYAT MUSK TABRIZ and 2) LAMAAT MUSK TABRIZ
smelled and tried all the perfumes you mentioned, they are clones of FM Night, Dubai Oud, etc. Alhamdulilah got chance to smell lot of niche houses and also clone houses.
Bro u cant tell that a perfume is a clone of other or not unless u own both…..thats why i only highlighted clones that i have for others i mentioned carefully with doubt since i dont own originals…. So just by smelling once u cant tell one perfume is clone of other…because u will some note of one perfume in other as well like Givenchy Gentleman EDP and Dior Homme Intense have quite similarity due Oris(iris) note but once u spray 3-4 times which i did by going to shop again and again before buying Gentleman and finally decided not to buy as i already had DHI. Thats why u find a section of “This perfume reminds me of” on fragrantica otherwise they would have mentioned them as clones…So Rasasi is no more a complete copy cat/ clone brand nowAnd thats why now when i want to buy perfume my main aim is to find a perfume which is totally distinct from others or atleast have least similarities with others but this is getting difficult day by day as when ur sense of smell grows u start finding a lot of similarities in fragrances
My Armaf cdn intense finally came to an end.
And I am glad! It is supposed to be the closest to Creed Aventus, but I didnt enjoy it much.
Why u didn’t enjoy it? Because i was thinking to buy it when J. Janan bottle gets exhausted. Although I don’t like clones but the price of Aventus nowadays is sky high and since I smelled CDNIM in past and it appealed me so was thinking to purchase it
May be its just me, but I did not enjoy the smell of it. Too strong for my liking.Your experience may be different though.
Was it EDT or EDP?
EDT
best is to buy a 500ml or 1000ml flask of aventus and then distribute it amongst different people
Have u done it? Selling it in Pakistan would be difficult!! And the one available in flask is aventus oil or EDP/EDTBecause from pics it looks like oil flask
genuine aventus EDP
Got the answer from Creed before u answered
Websites state its EDP.
