Hi guys as i have sold my PS2 and now iam interested in buying new generation gaming console
but iam little confused what to buy xbox 360 or PS3?
I have heard some facts about PS3 that it only runs orignal blue ray discs which are too expensive
and it does not run paireted discs the second option is xbox 360 but there are some technical
issues with it like hardware failure and some other errors but it can run paireted discs, which is
good.
But now iam cofused what to buy, please guys help me out in this matter and post your
experiences with both consoles.

- Rs. 20,000 - 22,000 only.
-Graphics in most of the games are better than PS3.
-Rs. 100 / game.

PS3
- Rs. 30,000 - 35,000only.
-BlueRay Advantage.
-Graphics lesser than 360 in many games.
-2nd hand game start at Rs. 1500 - 2000.
-Brand New game=Rs. 4,000. Rs. 5,000.and Rs. 6,000.

-There are ZERO technical issues in the late 2008 and 2009 models of XBOX 360.
-Check the date of manufacture before buying.

Xbox 360 is the best because:

• More Games selection

• Xbox Live

• Project Natal (better then Wii and PS3's thing lol)

• Better controls

• Better UI, Xbox Dashboard(Y)

XBox 360 is so much better overall.

There was just one issue "the ring of death" and I think they have sorted that out, although I have XBox 360 since Sept 2006, it has worked flawlessly.

Can't wait for Project Natal.

Guys help me out again some one told me that jasper models run all x box 360 games and non jasper models runs only 60 % games is it true?
second thing is that does jasper model comes only in 80 gb hard disk space or is also available in 60 bg as well because iam planing to buy from dubai but there are three models available there

1st choice : Arcade Jasper (NTSC)
2nd choice : Arcade Jasper (PAL)

No Need to spend 30 - 40k for Go Pro / Elite , they have the same console, only with additional Hard Drives, Arcade has a Memory card which is sufficient to store 10 - 12 games data, what else do you want ?

@GLI, its easy to Mod ANY of them, there is NO difference in between a Pro or an Arcade, or say Jasper or a Falcon, when it comes to Modding, the Drive is the Only Thing, Nothing else is Touched in the Console, they just take the Drive out, the DVD drive, Flash it through a Software after connecting it to a PC and Place it back in the Console, No cuts to Any cable or Any damage is done, its a very simple process but a very tricky one, very few people do it, Never try it at home, Expert will take 2,000 rupees and do it for you, but dont leave your console with him, just tell him to take the drive out and give you back your console, when he is done flashing, go back with your console and get your drive fixed in it back again, Very Very Simple, but Very Long to Explain
