New mehran insulation issue

Assalam Alikum To All,

I have new mehran vxr now weather is getting hot everyday.
i am looking to reduce heat inside car specially from floor..i think raxine will not work ...
i already have tinted its windows and trunk now inside car temperature is very much controlled but when i touch floor it was hot speacially from gearbox..
i need your advice and workshop to get all work under one roof in rwp/isl..

Bhai subse pehli baat apko Mehran hi dikhi lene k lye ?
ab suzuki ki gari leli hay wo b Mehran OMG to sabar shuker karkey chalaye jaO ...
Suzuki walay humko bewakoof samajhtey hain (infact hum me se kuch log hain b) tabhi unke 30yr old models abi tak yahan sale horahay hain....

Don't get dishearted brother.

About your issue, you can use molty jumble on board for insulation. You can cut and shape the board as per your need. There is a thread on PW where someone has used jumble on to insulate floor door etc etc . Use the search function

There are also some special paints available for heat and sound dampening.

Nice DIY but i think you have done insulating only floor. I have also done the same thing but on all doors and boot of my car as floor and engine bay have already factory fitted sound damping material .

In my alto, the floor damping provided by Paksuzuki didnt do much, the Jumbolon improved sound deadening and heat considerably.

I did the trunk lid too (see pics in thread), as well as the doors but i couldnt manage to take pictures while doing that. Pretty hard to do it since i had to cut the Jumbolon into really small peices.

Yes that DIY needs time and patience. I have did this same just like you did (cutting pieces and stuff) but in the end hard job pays good.

When i was selling the car, everyone used to close the door of the car and say "lagta hay pooray door mai polygate hay" since the door closing sound was much much different and solid

bro coming to the point i insulated my mehran 2004 vx with ac with underlay which we put under the carpet i used it in floor and trunk (0.5 inch) and in doors (0.25 inches)

result is that car becomes silent and ac chilling increases first i cannot put my feet directly on floor without shoesbut now i can

total cost in floor became 1300 and doors 1000 rs you only need (underlay smud bond or elephant bond scissors inches tape and ruler to cut straight)
it is a time consumption thing.sorry dont have pics because i did this last year but i am HAPPY.
