So as i have mentioned in the past, two issues which plagued my ride and messed up my mind greatly:
1. My bike's Mis-Aligned Front
2. Terrible performance of Front Shock Absorbers
3. Wheel Alignment going out of order again & again.
3rd Problem is solved by Changing the Rims to "Araya", which this thread is about.
About the other issues, here it goes:
July 5th, 2014
I went to Khan Denter, Qasoor Poora, Lahore. Just like all the other denters, he blamed the issue 1 & 2 on my "Weham".
Then i went to a famous Shock Absorbers person near Qusoor Poora (on the opposite side of Khan Denter), named "Mushtaq" ... who was the student of the famous "Hafiz Shocks Wala" near "Do moriya Pull".
- He opened up the front, and checked the fork shafts in his Kharaad Machine. Shafts were badly misaligned.
- He sent me a "Hydraulics Press Person" (besides Khan Denter), who tried to align it. Here is the picture:
RESULT? FAILED EXPERIMENT & WASTED RS.300 ... and a FULL BLOODY DAY (It was nearly 50C that day, with very hot sun shining bright + Roza ... go figure :-!)
July 7th, 2014
I talked to my neighbor, who is a known CG125 Engine Modder, and a Kharadia. He opened up the front end, inspected the bike and told me following:
- My fork shafts are just fine.
- I should purchase the "Ainak" brand new (Stem Steering), along with Balls & Cups set for the handle.
I went to Makhdoom Corporations, McLeod Road ... and bought:
- Stem Steering for CG125, Genuine Atlas Honda @ Rs.650
- "Sun" Balls & Cups Set, Japenese @ Rs.650 (for both)
Pictures:
I couldn't take a picture of the OLD Stem Steering, to show you the work of art, these Denters perform on these things. It was badly mis-aligned for both Left & Right side. Which was the main reason for Misaligned Front End, and front forks basically getting stuck again & again. (i was thinking that it was the forks all along, and was afraid to change the Stem Steering, thinking it would be too costly. But it was just Rs.650 (H) )
He also Re-did the shock absorbers, by putting in the STP Power Fluid (which i had purchased in the past). Now, the front tubes' hydraulics are also back up & running.
RESULT? PERFECTO & Great Mental Satisfaction

Front Wheel Bearings also went kaput, and were noticed later. Purchased Naachi Japan Front Wheel Bearings @ Rs.320, from Makhdoom Corporations, McLeod Road.
Side Lock was broken since ages, and i was advised to change it. (Since my Ignition lock was also broken since 2-3 years, i was asked to get complete set including ALL the locks of bikes because Ignition+Side lock was worth Rs.650 ... and the whole set was just Rs.1350. So had to get those.
Pictuers:
OLD Bearings, were also of Naachi.
RESULT? PERFECTO & Great Mental Satisfaction
P.S. I still haven't changed the locks lol.
Don't kill me please
Just not getting enough time. But hopefully, i will get them changed tomorrow InShaALLAH.
JUST ONE LAST THING LEFT TO DO:
I am also asked to change the "Handle Bar" as well. Because apparently, Denters have totally messed up the alignment of it, and it has now become the handle bar of a old Yamaha YB100. :-#
-------------------------------------------------------------
I hope it'd help those with similar problems.
@r1! Finally, my front forks problems is solved.
Though i still feel that on high speeds, bike is slightly mis-aligned but i guess thats because of the Rims, which need to be tightened. (Brand New rims' spokes need to be tightened after first fittings because they get loose after running a few hundred kms).
