Since you're going to be waxing it for the first time, i assume its a brand new car.
If its a brand new car you need to be extra careful, just like you should be even with an oldie.
anyway, formula one, NO, get a good wax.
Mothers California Gold Pure Carnauba 1800 rupees, or Mothers SynWax which you could see in the above posts, 1300 rupees.
Make sure you wash and dry your car under shade and do both of these with a MicroFibre cloth.
Once youre done with drying the car ( in shade ) apply wax to the car using the applicator pad which you would get with the wax, apply very thin layer, because there is only a certain amount of wax which would be bonded with the paint, no matter how much extra you apply, it would come off as a waste.
You just have to make sure that when you're apply wax the body of the car isnt hot and neither does it have any dust on it, keep a damp Micro with you, with which you could wipe the part on which you're going to apply the wax.
Then when you're done applying the wax, let it dry to haze, after that just buff it off with a MF cloth, again making sure that you dust of the residue and any dust off the paint.
If the wax has become too dry and leaving behind a lot of haze, which it wont do it you apply a thin layer, but still if it does, keep a water spray bottle with you with which you could damp the MF cloth a little and then buff off the wax.
Do post the result here on the forum.
Goodluck!
