..... doesnt matter HOW old or how much mileage done. it roams on japanese road, not on paki mountain-like roads.

    getting back to the topic.

my choice is the belta clearly because the city is under specced.

as for those who brought the crapolla (corolla) into the equation,.. this is not a topic about bumpercars or driving on high beams.

Belta is by far superior to the City, but then again, the City we have here was made according to what our people prefer.

And VAJIH, I don't think those mileage figures can be that accurate. Toyota is known for misleading figures Must be around 15 km/l approx.

whisky, the Toyota thing you have mentioned is news for me but i would agree with that because lovable's 1.3l 2WD gives 16km/l whereas the site says 19km/l. levin once said such tests are machine based in factories without the car's body so it was natural to have a difference.

I'd go for Belta for the following simple reasons:

    1. New in the market, COOL.
    2. Toyota reliability.
    3. Better shape.
    4. Simple and elegant interior.
    5. Japanese (assembled) reliability.
    6. Good economy. (I'd go for the 1.0L)

Why I'd not go for the city.

    1. Too many on the road, un-cool
    2. Interior is certainly not the best.
    3. Local built quality.
    4. Already have a few of them in my family.

logical facts may decide rather than personal opinions.
if tc=p then hc=m where tc is equal to toyota corolla and p is equal to paindu, and hc is equal to honda civic and m is equal to moron

Belta has more optionz than city
    better road grip
a lot more better braking power
    ABS
    and alot more functions.

City has very less features as compared to belta.

no belta imported from japan is not available in manual transmission.
Manual transmission beltas are only available in middle east and north american market. But no in japanese. And all the beltas imported into pakistan come form japan , so they all have auto cvt gearboxes.
