Default Enginel oil for civic 8th gen reborn 2009 model

i have honda civic 2009 model that is driven 56000km which i bought few days ago so had to change the engine oil....asking for suggestions which oil to use...my preferance is the oil which will last the most because i have a habit of forgetting about oil change time so a long lasting one will be preferable...and which vioscity(ignore the spelling0 oil to put in the car?

Brother it will run 1 year or 15,000 miles and roughly twice as long as your oil filter will hold.

Everyone is talking about oil. Lets say oil XYX is good for 20K KM, what abt the oil filter ? U must get that changed or get an oil filter that runs the same amount of kilometers.

Brother very good opinion I also prefer the same but most people are lazy enough or donot get time from daily office routine to get it done.

I'm using Mobil1 5w50 in my 2007 prosmatic. It lasts for 10k easily with filter change on 5k. 4 liters will cost 5k. I recommend everyone to use it.

I agree ,, I would recommend using Mobil 1 5w50 for your car ,, use original Honda oil filter and get both of them changed every 7500/ 8000 kms ,, this is what I do ..

My car is now 120k driven and the engine is really smooth and giving excellent mileage. If you are using original Honda oil, you'll notice a huge difference. Mobil1 is really good

Best is to pour Genuine Honda fully synthetic oil and drain it after 4k kms. You will notice considerable difference in revs and fuel economy than Havoline Formula. Personal experience.
