Rely is a sub-brand created by Chery for its home market's high-end commercial vehicle segment. The 'X5' name is already used by BMW to sell its SUV.. however Chery are happy to use the same name for its Rely brand. The Rely X5 is Chery's flagship SUV and is also the first Chinese SUV to appear in Dakar Rally earlier this year. It did considerably well considering the fact that it was its first ever appearance in what is considered among the most difficult terrains to run. Out of nearly 128 cars in competition, Rely X5 finished 28th and 29th while GreatWall Hover ended the rally with 33rd place.

Rely X5 is powered by 2.0Tci engine which may not be an absolute beast of an engine but it can still push out 235Nm of torque and 146kW of power which is enough for most inner city jaunts and the occasional light offroading. A turbo diesel version & a 3 liter V6 engine is also in the pipeline. The 2.0Tci engine meets Euro IV standards.

Riich X1 entered the Chinese market on 15th November 2009. The displacement of Riich X1 is 1.3 liters. The X1 is designed as a crossover and will be sold in the mini SUV market.

The dimensions of the X1 are 3,866 x 1,622 x 1,638 mm. In April 2009, Changfeng Motor launched China's first hybrid SUV model, which is codenamed Liebao (Leopard) CS7 Hybrid.

The successful development and manufacture of the hybrid SUV has made Changfeng Motor a leader in the Chinese SUV section, with its R&D capability and technology reaching the world's state-of-the-art SUV standards.

Currently, there are only a few manufacturers of hybrid SUVs in the world, and less than 10 hybrid SUV models are available in the global auto market. Most of them are high-end hybrid SUV models of luxury brands, such as BMW, GM, Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus.

The release of Changfeng Motor's Liebao CS7 Hybrid marks China's having its own hybrid SUV manufacturing technology. Changfeng Motor aims to sell 280,000 vehicles annually by year 2010.

Under the hood sits a 1.3L four cylinder engine that's boosted by a 10kW motor, which also acts as the starter. This power-train sends its horses through a CVT transmission to the front wheels. A second electric motor that puts out a maximum of 30kW sends power to the rear axle, thereby providing all-wheel drive.

Both motors are fed their electrons via a 288V lithium ion battery pack that can be charged up using a standard 220V outlet. Changfeng claims a full charge offers enough juice to travel about 30 miles (50 kilometers).

The standard 2.0l gasoline version produces 89KW of power and 168 N-m of torque with a top speed of 160km/h while meeting Euro IV emission standards.

Kia Sportage SL will be officially listed in October this year. Offered with multi-function steering wheel, key-less start, leather seats, automatic air conditioning and other configurations.

Expected powered is 2.0L and 2.4L theta II engine, maximum power of 105kW and 128kW, maximum torque of 197N-m and 227N-m, and carrying 6 speed automatic transmission and 5-speed manual transmission. There are two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive available.

Gonow is the maker of those shabby pickup & Prado look alike that exist in out market. However Gonow has been recently acquired by Guangzhou Auto Industry Group (GAIG).. GAIG are jv partners of Honda & Toyota and have some good experience working with the auto giants of the world. So one may expect to see some betterment in Gonow vehicles in coming days.

Gonow revealed their latest SUV at Beijing Auto Show earlier this year and it not only looks better than any existing Gonow SUV, but it is better finished too, according to the media reports. However Gonow has came up with a most weird name for this SUV, its called Aoosed!! don't know what this word means and what was in their mind when they were deciding this name.

Sized 4640×1815x1800mm, with a wheelbase of 2745mm and a 2.4 liter engine offered. Speculated price of Aoosed will start around 160,000 rmb (19.8 lac PKR) however official price is yet to be announced.

The special and luxury design was based on Audi Q7 (not too sure if its licensed or not), equipped with Electronic ABS+EBD, intelligent automatic A/C, five doors remote control, automatic non-glitz Rear View Mirror, large screen DVD etc. The body uses anti-collision structure design with side doors beams and high strength armor plate. Equipped with Dual air bags and pre-warning seat belts. The China made Volkswagen Tiguan SUV is one of its flagship models of Shanghai VW.

As Volkswagen's first compact crossover SUV in the real sense, the Tiguan model was introduced to Shanghai VW, one of the German auto giant's Chinese ventures, for local production in China. But its launch was delayed last year due to low sales prediction.

Tiguan is the German carmaker's second compact SUV after Touareg to blend the crossover pleasures in the city and country driving. Its name is a hybrid from Tiger and Iguana, an exotic mix of boldness and wildness.

The China-made Tiguan SUV comes with 1.8TSI and 2.0TSI versions. It is based on the fifth-generation Golf's PQ35 platform. Price ranges from 199800rmb (25.0 lac PKR) to 309800rmb (38.8 lac PKR)
