Cool Suggest Best Oil and Filters for Corolla & Mehran???

    @Xulfiqar , @incognito59 , @sunhonbun , @sjehsan , @ronz2202 , @uzi602 , @StrikerX , @Ravager , @sheikh_wah , @FarhanAnwarKhan , @qwertypoiu , @Marwanpasha , @asdalix , @uzi602 , @umer325 , @a1ms , @ahmad_yar , @Durrani_45 , @GoodMan7

Hi guys, I've got two cars and they are both due for service so I'll provide some information about my cars so that you guys can suggest the best possible products for them.

    1) Toyota Corolla GLi 1300CC Manual, 2010 Model

Currently 45K on ODO and last service done on 40K by Toyota Garden Motors including these things which were suggested by you guys since I didn't want to go with full 40K service which was very expensive:

    Toyota Motor Oil ( Petron API SL / CF ) SAE 20W50 4 Litres = 1916Rs

Air Filter ( Sankei purchased from Filter House ) = 750Rs

Oil Filter ( Union Japan purchased from Filter House ) = 490Rs

Changed all four spark plugs ( Toyota Genuine ) = 1480Rs

    Brake Service = 600Rs

    Engine Tune Up = 600Rs

    Throttle Body Service = 1200Rs

    Injector Service = 2500Rs

Now 5K has since passed and it's time for the regular service. This car hardly gets used, it did 5K in almost 6 months and most of the time it's parked in the garage and I just drive it after a few days within city mostly.

    Kindly recommend the following things:

    1) Best Oil for my car according to current weather, should I stick to same TMO???
    2) Best Oil Filter which is economical but will perform good until next service, are guard filters good enough???

Also do I need to replace the Air Filter as I think I read that it should be good for 10K???

    2) Suzuki Mehran VX, 2008 Model

Currently 110K on ODO and last service done a few months back by my dad from some local mechanic so no idea what's in it right now. This car gets used a lot and I've seen some oil spots on the floor underneath the hood so definitely some kind of leak.

So need your suggestions on the following things:

    1) Best Oil for my car according to current weather
    2) Best Oil Filter which is economical but will perform good until next service, will guard filter suffice???

Also do I need to replace the Air Filter in this car, will guard filter suffice???

I know it's a long post but wanted to make sure you experts have all the required info before posting your suggestions

    Thanks in advance!

Also which 3S workshop most reliable for Toyota in Lahore, would you know???
Bhai ji baat yeh hai keh sari baat hai satisfaction ki.

I dont mind spending more at a dealership cuz i believe minute details matter. clean workshop area, clean tools, clean places to put parts that are removed from the vehicle.

local workshops have dust all around and dust or dirty tools which translates in to dust going in to engine and other parts. also they are not trained for a specific car. it is hit n trial mostly.

i mean local dealer would charge you 500-600 for tuning and dealership will charge you 800-900, which is a good price since they are experts for your specific car. they are trained by the manufacturer. workshop area is clean as a nut. they have genuine parts and toyota dealership give warranty on their parts which means parts quality is excellent.

In lahore i would recommend toyota walton or garden motors for your toyota and mini motors in cavelry ground for suzuki.
for Honda dont go to honda pitstop they suck. Honda fort preferably and city sales as second preference.

Also are you suggesting Leppon's filters for both my corolla and mehran??? Any idea how much they are since you are in the market and from where to get the genuine ones and not fakes???
Semi Synthetic oils perform far well as compare to Mineral oils. Price wise it maybe hardly Rs. 50/L expensive. But I still insist to give your priorities to Semi Synthetic over mineral.
Change interval of Semi synthetic is also min. 1K more as compared with Mineral. Semi Synthetic helps to keep the engine clean from inside too, help fuel consumption, etc.
Using mineral oil, specially 20/50, we immediately feel that car's pick up has increased and we start feeling good. But infact mineral oils are not fuel saving. While Synthetic & semi synthetic oils are.

    Leppon's round about prices are
XLI oil filter price is Rs. 325~350. Very good upto 4K interval.
XLI air filter price is Rs. 450~500. Very good upto 4K interval.

Sorry no idea for Mehran. But these are not expensive either.

What is your location in Lahore?
    No Guts, No Glory.

Bro you Synthetic or Semi Synthetic oil for your Corolla. Try Zic XQ synthetic or PTT performa 5/40.
And if budget is low then try Semi synthetic like PTT performa 10/40, Mobil S2000 10/40 (Its very good oil and 2800 for 4 liter), Zic A.
And if you don't have your personal satisfaction using this oil then keep using TMO.

For Mehran use Havoline 20/50 or any other brand in this velosity. Most famous is Havoline among all. Use guard filters with it. Change Oil after 2.5-3k.

sir jee, its viscosity and not velocity.
And secondly its almost difficult to find original havoline in the city because too much fake oil is avaialble in the market.
Ptt performa 20/50 is sn grade (havoline is sg grade) and pretty much suitable for mehran. The driver will feel like pilot (flying mehran) if he will use original ptt 20/50.lol

Yeah, 3S dealers charges are bit high for parts and even for labour, they charge 500-1000 just for basic cleaning and chekups lol

For the injector service, they took all the injectors out (I think my GLi has 4) and put them in a computerized machine, similar to the cars injector system. Then they test the injectors at different speeds and check how much fuel it's spraying/injecting to check for faulty injectors. Mine were working fine, so they simply dipped them in some chemical for about 5 minutes and then installed them back in the car telling me that they have been cleaned/serviced

Yes that is exactly how the Toyota 3S mechanic checked and cleaned my car's injectors and I think they charged me 2000-2500 for it.

How much did you pay for this and from where???

@unstopbl3 they were very good with my honda city i was fully satisfied, i think they will be good with other cars as well. it is very well equipment workshop i think better than some 3s Dealer.

went there to get my 60000km tune-up
they started with scanning to check the reading of the sensors.
then open the injectors, throttle body and plugs. they services the injectors and throttle body
    they also changed the plugs.

the best thing about them was the guy on scanner was explaining me about the reading.

    hope this helps

they were cheap when you compare with 3s dealer. I paid 2000 labour 1500 for parts which included 8 plugs.

Yar if you have the money i would suggest the following:
    -Liquimoly fully synthetic oil
    -K&N Air filter
    -K&N oil filter
Use these and just enjoy as these or Mobil 1 filters are the best in the world
All you need is just money
