dont ignore it. I have developed lower back pain over a couple of long route (2000km) journeys.

AoA everyone,
I am also having back pain after riding the grande for a period longer than 15 mins approx. I have driven it almost 1400 km now and I travel between Islamabad and Rawalpindi daily (home and office). Never experienced this in the older corolla Glis 2008 and 2011 or Civic 2005 and Reborn 2012 which I drove over 150K in the previous 5 yrs on the same route.
If anyone on the forum could help me with this in the former of suggestions. This might be due to the lack of adjustable lumbar support or I don't know, but is now a serious concern for me.

Guys my Corolla's axle boot is leaked.
5000 driven only by myself only in Lahore and today went for 1st oil change and came to know about this. The warranty guy taken pics and asked me tu check tomorrow as they have to take approval for part change in warranty from head office. A small hole is in the book from where fluid is coming out.

Advice required what parts are to be changed and what to be taken care of

Just make sure there is no further damage to the excel after this.

They will cover it in the warranty, but make sure they take care of it ASAP. Are you still using the car after this, or parked at dealership?

Just came to realize (after 2 days since the delivery of my gli) that toyota islamabad did not give warranty booklet to me. There was only battery warranty card and user manual of car and cd/mp3 player ware present. Is they give separate booklet for the warranty.

I have yoko advan db 205/60/R16 in grande. Went to buy for my other car 205/60/R16 Michellin Energy saver+ for rupees 13,800 & Yokohama advan db for 12,300 each in Karachi from a well reputed shop.....
is this normal price??? Or expensive??

Dont know much about 16 inch tyres. Last year i changed my tyres to michilen 205 65 15. What i remember is I payed 14k or 18k difference in exchange.

I was comparing specs of 1.6 altis vs 1.8 cvti, i think with price difference of only 2 lacs, altis 1.8 cvti is worth more than 1.6 altis, here is the list of techs that 1.8 altis cvti is offering over 1.6

1. Cvt transmission, smooth and fuel efficient.
2. Bigger and powerful engine
3. Cruise control
4. Split and reclining seats
5. Fog lams
6. Andriod based 8 inch multimedia
7. Driver side airbag
8. Fog lamps

Anything i am missing ? Or added mistakenly please correct me.

Any one going for 1.8 variant would think twice before doing so for the fact that Civic X is most probably going to be launched in Pakistan in 2017, which will surely give some real tough time to 1.8 variants of Corolla. On the other hand, 1.6 is a safe bet till now, as Honda has no any plans to introduce next gen. of City 1.5 variant.

P.S. Read the possible launching time of Civic X in a blog on Pakwheels.

Any one going for 1.8 variant would think twice before doing so for the fact that Civic X is most probably going to be launched in Pakistan in September 2016, which will surely give some real tough time to 1.8 variants of Corolla. On the other hand, 1.6 is a safe bet till now, as Honda has no any plans to introduce next gen. of City 1.5 variant.

If ideally we get 1.5 turbo engine then civic will be way more costly as we always see a price jump with new model civic and 1.5 turbo engine model of civic has high price tag even in US. I am not talking about grande but altis 1.8 cvti specs looks more promissing. Civic will remain civic with low ground clearance, higher price tag than similar specs corolla, design for urban and paved roads. 2zr-fe engine with cvti is more fuel efficient than current r18 engine with 5 speed automatic in current civic.

You have spoken the truth but I read in a blog that new gen. Civic will be equipped with CVTi tech., if its true, then fuel mileage of Altis 1.8 and Civic would definitely be neck to neck. There are two pivotal things, which Altis 1.8 lacks, but which Civic offers, 1. SRS Airbag for front passenger, 2. Immobilizer.

Even Current gen. Civic surpasses Altis 1.8 in both these basic features.

Raise the seat height. Sit at an unusually high level. You will soon get used to the it. It will cure your backache and give you a clear view.

I hate grande seating position.Small windscreen high seat and dashboard.less steering adjustment than reborn
