DIY Suzuki Swift 1989 LED speedometer

yo, just completed LED speedometer of my Suzuki Swift 1989

was confused about how to turn needles to red so skipped that part by only turning them to crystal rest is as shown below

total cost of this modification is Rs.70 for LEDs n resistors

and ppl on Pakwheels are charging like Rs.2000+

good job, i have an advise, plz put some paper in b/w ur speedometer panel and leds in order to decrease the sharpness intensity of light, as it will hinder u in night drives.

well it depends whether u are connecting LEDs in parallel or series......if u are connecting in series then connect a 180 ohm resistor with series of 3 LEDs....

Nice work...white is good..get 86 speedometer needles.....and replace them.....will glow with white

use nail polish remover to remove paint but be careful nt to touch front panel otherwise paint on front on the panel will be removed as well

that is so true.. i called one guy and his prices were like :o.. i mean if one knows the real price you would never pay 2,000 rupees for a job like this.. and i believe that what other people do will look similar to this..

umair Bhai same thing I want to do in my mehran but thing is how to get plastic dial for it in market it is not easily available as compare to this in swift plastic dial came with that model but in mehran it is steel kind of plate so not easy for light to through last thing please tell in detail how u did this plz plz that how u fixed leds

umair Bhai m new to pakwheels n i also want to know the full details of the DIY. mine is a mehran 2000 model. i want these leds as well. plz tell frm where a person can get leds n resistors plus how install them n connect thm with battery! w8ing for ur full discriptions.....
