Gee Sir, it will be cleaned with soft cotton cloth and then primer will be applied (or may have been applied today as I am in office so I dont know yet ) ... sanding it with sand paper or grinder was one hell of a Job and many parts of bike cannot be properly reach like inside of the cylender fins, inside of the frame corners and joints .. but by this procedure its all naked matel just like a brand new Build!

hehehh eh e its naked metal .... all stuff is Sand blasted.

It took a year for me to locate them as well, but I can help you in this regard as I exactly know where to locate them...

If you want to locate a Sand Blasting facility then :

1 - First Inquire about industrial Area in your city then ask for any 'glass and Mirror making Factory' and locate it and visit it..

2 - Glass and mirror factories has a must Sand Blasting machninery as it is required alot in rounding, cutting and fabircating glass and mirror items and you can get you Item Sanded and Blasted from them ^_^..

Masha Allah, looking very nice. So far it is coming together beautifully. Only one comment, if you can cut off the excess gasket material, the engine will look much nicer. See pictures below:

Just a small advice .... Insha Allah when the engine starts first time, do not rev it up. Please avoid the temptation of the kid inside us wanting to hear the engine go vrooom vrooom. Let it idle for long time. This will allow the engine to reach temperature gradually so that all bearings/parts can reach their operating sizes (metal expands when hot). The idea behind this advice is that if God forbid any bearing or bush decides to spin it's outer or inner race in the housing the resulting damage can be contained. Also when the engine starts the first time immediately ensure oil is getting to the cams at the top of the head. Last thing you want happening is the engine getting ruined due to oil starvation. This can happen if the small oil holes get blocked by sealant or gasket material by mistake during the assembly process.

Once you have confidence that all parts are doing their job especially the bearings/modifications done by the lath shop are holding well, you can go about starting and driving normally.

100% agreed and rotating jammed bearing can lead to a completly totalled engine ...

Get some used air compressor 2.5 hp to 5 hp for small jobs at home.(price around 5 to 10k)

Get some hi pressure hose (around 150 Rs/ft)

Get sand blasting gun from hardware store (got mine in just 1600 Rs)

Get some clean sand from building material store

and search the Internet for proper method

you will be able after few shots

thats it

wow nice DIY sand blasting but as I heard sand used in sand blasting is different specially when it comes to blast aluminum or soft surfaces (just heard it from the source where I got my stuff sandvblasted) he had packets of fine sand for using on different materials which can be purchased cheap from hardware shops.
