Installed Philips Rally Bulbs

Hey guys,

I've been hunting for these for some time now but sadly they are not available in Karachi, so I had a friend bring them from Lahore. Sharing the results after installing them:

These are the bulbs that came out of my car's headlamps.. They are also Philips and provided great light and excellent visibility which is also why the difference after installing these was not so stark. The difference is also more noticeable in reality than in camera images but i've tried to show a comparison anyway. Obviously the Rally ones have a higher power rating as you can see.

Here are some comparisons, there's view of a wall where i tested the light of both the bulbs and there is a street view. The image on the right is the one after I installed the bulbs (I've put the monogram there but in case anyone misses out :p)

Yup, they are really mean when on high-beam.. Haha.. Well my friend got them for me. I reckon from Mughal Autos at Montgomery Road.. costed Rs.200/bulb

cant be original - must be fake. . check international websites like powerbulbs.com for rates.

these are fake bulbs. i saw them in montgomery too and these were selling there. phillip rally bulb's packing is different than these. that is why you dont see much of a difference in output

Friend got them for me from Lahore. Yeah man they are very economical.. Nope didn't put in anything else with it my friend they are plain H4 bulbs.. take out the old ones and put in the new ones..

400 for a philips bulb from germany ,lol , must be from china , even chinese ones now cost around 500 . . .

These are fake ones man. Genuine ones are at least 3,000 rupees without taxes and duty. Anyway if you are satisfied, then it is fine :). In which car you have installed them? They can damage your plastic lens too. Anyways best of luck.

Point is who can get them ? my mother is coming back from us, but she will take another 2 weeks for this, im ordering 3 packs of them, but im running out of patience.

if they are copies they are very well done copies.. writing and packaging and stuff.

Your stock bulbs werent bad either.
I dont see much visible difference in the photos.
I dont wanna sound rude but there can never be so little difference between the output of a 55~60W and a 90~100W bulb.

Hey dont you think that older bulbs light is longer and this is wider ? and as i think longer light is more suitable then wider one. and combination of both will rock for sure
