Engine light?

its civic 04 oriel auto
i was going towards motorway when car suddenly lost the power n engine light turned on,car didnt turned off as brake was working fine.so stopped the car n turned it on again,after few km,it happened again then i switched it to petrol but after few km same thing happened again then i switched it back to cng but when i was pressing the accelerator i heard sounds from exhaust or something so switched to petrol again,after few km this time car turned off completely n brake stopped working

Your auto transmition seem to have had some fault(Pressure plate in manual). Selecting P while moving on an old gear-train ruined it (Better select N at max while moving).

Tow it to some good mechanic and see if the engine is ok or the check engine light was coz of timing issue which may have caused piston damage if that the case you are better off to replace the whole engine with gear transmittion set. I wish my assumption is wrong and your old machine can be repaired with out many new parts.

omg!!! you ruined your transmission man. y u put the car in P mode while moving i'm sure you have to overhaul or replace your transmission now,

ch sb seems like a transmission issue. i am not sure what triggered it, did u ever had this problem ?

I had a similar issue and the computer gave a throttle actuator current code and I eventually fixed it myself as only a fuse was faulty. But my car is manual and didn't make noises. Hope you get your problem resolved soon.

check light is a separate issue,i'l mention that later but why the hell you shifted in P while driving??:o

anyways
i took it to mechanic,changed plugs n air filter then i took it to nazir autos which was closed but they diagnosed n told that CRK sensor had the issue which needs to be replaced for 5.5k + 1.5k labour but tomorrow
then took it to another shop which was apparently opened by one of ex employee of nazir autos,he also told the same thing but he said issue might get resolved by fixing the wiring so they put tape on the wires n then re checked it,n it was working fine so no need to change the sensor n issue resolved

n rest everything was fine n no issue with anyother thing as diagnosed on the computer at both shops

basically that sensor was turning off the car when overloaded at higher speed of 80-110 at higher rpm's
second mechanic tried full throttle n that sensor started turning off the car but after fixing the wiring,took it to higher rpm's at 100+ with AC n it was all fine MASHALLAH

nazir autos also told about same sensor but this other shop guy said it might get fixed with wiring only n it did n saved me extra 6.2k
name of shop was auto diagnostic center,its in G9 markaz at back of rahat bakery infront of some newly opened showroom

anyways today i went to GIKI n came back n by the grace of ALLAH ALMIGHY it was a fine trip without any issues what so ever MASHALLAH
when i opened bonnet after reaching GIKI to add more water in radiator's plastic pipe,it was already full :o

also i came over my fear of driving it at 120 speed n kept it at 120 most of the time,sometimes reached 130-140 but kept at 120 to avoid challan
at one point i was overtaking a car that was going at 130 n while i was overtaking it,i saw speed camera :o
but when i had a look at cluster,my speed was 120
temperature needle remained below middle all the time,didnt used ac at all though used just the fan while going

that guy who checked car last night said that its pick is not upto the mark,i called nazir autos,i guess it doesnt needs tunning but needs to be checked as why the pick is not good,but they take cars only between 10-12pm

Describe me your problem.I can help you to eliminate this problem because i was owning a civic 97 which also shuts off while driving.So i asked help from everyone some said distributor is out of order some said fuel pump some said Ignition Switch.So i continued serching and found the solution after 6months that it is the main relay of my car which usually gets faulty and makes the car to switch off.So i changed it and eliminated this problem.

^^ his model's main relay is not the large chunky box you have - and yes the CKP sensor will shut off the engine and its very stupidly placed in the civic engine.
