    and ya u got it right about all the hoopla they gonna create for F1,.. it will be a big opportunity for India to rise and shine in the world of motor-sports.. if chandok was in the team he would be a biggest star during F1 in India ...

    Thanks for pointing that, I have take the times from Autosport.com and If I remember correctly last year was also the same times have been followed but I will check starsports schedule for the race before updating the times here.

    Race Times have been updated, also a sad news because of English Premier League matches on Saturday no channel will broadcast the qualy live. Recorded qualy will be broadcast early Sunday Morning at 12:30 AM.

    here is more in-depth explanation for an ' * ' against China...

    Perspective: A story behind an asterisk

    Today the FIA finalized their 2011 calendar. Wait. Not quite. The Indian Grand Prix and Chinese Grand Prix are sporting asterisks. Translated: subject to homologation. That makes sense for India as the circuit is still under construction and subject to inspection and approval.

    But for China it’s a different story. What is behind the “homologation” they face and what could it mean to the future of their GP? What’s behind the asterisk? As Bernie Ecclestone admits that his focus is to take Formula 1 “east” it’s certainly a vital host country.

    Yet friends of mine who went to last year’s Grand Prix described a nightmare. One of the most expensive complexes ever constructed was, in their opinion, Spartan at best. Yes, the circuit was “intriguing” and the race “interesting”. But, even as members of an exclusive tour group, they encountered unpredictable and – in some cases — non-existent transportation, no food service, no refrigeration or even ice for beverages – and school buses everywhere, as children were brought in to fill seats.

    Heading to Brazil, we get to hear Felipe Massa’s secrets

    Ferrari driver Felipe Massa is Formula 1′s latest “Secret Life of…” subject, and other than name-dropping Eric Clapton, he doesn’t come across as terribly interesting.

    Is pay-to-drive the future of F1?

    The current F1 driver market has been changing over the last several years. The Pay-to-drive scenario is nothing new to F1 but that was usually a gambit left for smaller teams needing supplementary budget reinforcement and picking up a sponsor-backed driver was an easier way to claw some additional dollars in lieu of team sponsorship.

    F1: Fernando Alonso could use low-mileage engine in Abu Dhabi

    Fernando Alonso's engine situation is not as dire as it appears on paper, according to a German publication.
    On the face of it, the championship leader is well into his allocation of eight engines for 2010, facing a ten-position grid penalty if he needs to use a ninth unit before the finale.

    In fact, this weekend's Brazilian race will be the last the Ferrari driver will have to tackle with a high-mileage engine, Auto Motor und Sport explained.

    One of Alonso's eight engines has very low mileage, but has been unable to be used because it was replaced after qualifying at the Bahrain season opener.

    The rules prevented Ferrari from re-deploying this engine for anything other than free practice sessions, after it was replaced in Bahrain as a precaution due to the F60 almost overheating.

    But because Abu Dhabi is the season finale, Fernando Alonso is allowed to use any engine in his allocation there, and the Bahrain qualifying unit is extremely low on mileage.

    ^ i don't understand .. why the finale allows the rule changes ??.

    @m_waqas
    That Bahrain engine low mileage news is wrong because that engine is already expires in Chinese GP Practice Sessions. So, Alonso is using his Monza engine for the last 2 races. As for the rules, the rule is not about finale it was to discard use of separate engines for qualifying.

    Remember Alonso and Massa have changed their engines prior to the Bahrain GP, those engines can only been used for either practice sessions or in the last GP of the season before that those engines are not allowed to take part in any qualifying and race throughout the season.

    @MoizIrfan
    What you are saying about Massa is wrong his engine never blew up in Brazilian GP, it was Hungaroring 2008 where he has a blow up. In Brazil 2008, we have the most amazing race for the title, with Massa wins the race and Hamilton wins the title after taking 5th from Glock at the last corner on the last lap.

    In, Brazil 2009, Massa was not competing because of his injury.

    Senna premiere a hit in Sao Paulo

    I’ve just come back from the premiere of the new Senna movie which took place in a very smart cinema complex in the Jardim area of Sao Paulo.

    There is a real buzz about the film as you might expect, here in Brazil. It is scheduled to open next week here at over 130 cinemas and is likely to expand from there.

    @steve,..
    buddy, if u ever come across any torrent for this movie (dvd print) then plz share it with me...

    Webber says Vettel is Red Bull's favourite
    Mark Webber has suggested that Red Bull Racing is 'emotionally behind' his team-mate Sebastian Vettel going into the final two races of the world championship battle. The issue of team favouritism has been a hot topic at Red Bull this year, following Webber and Vettel's collision as they fought for the lead of the Turkish Grand Prix, and the incident where Webber had to hand his upgraded front wing to Vettel before Silverstone qualifying after the German's example failed.

    Vettel defends Red Bull's fairness
    Sebastian Vettel says he sees no evidence of Red Bull showing any favouritism towards him, despite team-mate Mark Webber's suggestion that it was the young German who had the team and its parent company's 'emotional support'. Webber is currently the leading Red Bull driver in the world championship, but both men still retain a title chance going into the final two rounds, with Webber 11 points behind leader Fernando Alonso and Vettel 25 down on the Ferrari driver.

    Horner denies Red Bull favours Vettel
    Red Bull Racing has insisted that Mark Webber receives the full support of the team, despite the Australian claiming the outfit was emotionally in favour of Sebastian Vettel. Ahead of the final two races of the campaign, Webber suggested that his bosses would prefer it if Vettel came out on top at the end of the season.

    RBR open to giving Webber priority
    Red Bull Racing has not ruled out making a strategic team call to throw all its weight behind Mark Webber's title prospects in the Brazilian Grand Prix if the need arises. Although the team is adamant that both its drivers will be treated equally while they remain in contention for the championship, Red Bull concedes that under certain circumstances it could call on Sebastian Vettel to help his team-mate instead.
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.

    LOL! Steve has picked interesting scenarios, Alonso not figuring anywhere near the top five or six places

    Whatever it was, Laura's (from planet crap 1 ) scenario is one i'd go for IF i had to opt for one. Don't know what she did but the title race goes to the wire with five drivers separated by one point.

    On a slightly serious note, this month's F1 racing magazine issue has an interesting formula. A professor of maths or something was asked about the likely out come of the championship based on a pattern from the last 40 years, pole positions, most wins, most podiums, most fastest laps in the season and a few other things. The out come has Webber as world champion and Hamilton second
    Come back, Luca Badoer, all is forgiven.
