I need to send my car from lahore to karachi via reliable carrier.

Car is Suzuki Mehran VXR.

Please guide me, also any idea about charges and some useful tips and cautions?

Charges from Punjab to Karachi are less as compared to charges from Karachi to Punjab because the car carriers come back empty. @drift222 is right as Mehran is a small car, the cost should not extend more than 6,000rs.

From here i.e. Lahore to Karachi fares are less as compared to Karachi to Lahore due to the reason that they will charge you the commercial rates from there.

One transporter quoted me Rs.6000, 3 days time, car to be collected from mauripur road.

Other transporter quoted Rs.4500 with same conditions.
@drift222 dear, what did you mean by mentioning my collecting place? is it possible for carrier to drop car anywhere in karachi?

Mentioning receiving point is must. All of the dealers hv 2 delivery point one is near steel mills and other is at hawks bay. they also pick and drop car at ur door step however charge extra for it. Once we ask them to deliver our car near steel mills but they took it to hawks bay.

most of the carrier have two drop points, one is maripur and other near pakistan steel mills. they do provide home delivery too, but charge extra for it.

mentioning collecting point mean the one point out of above two stated. in my case near pakistan steel mills suit me more.
