Get it tuned, plugs, air filter. Check for friction in the car, can be many reasons. especially can be caused by the way one drives

Doesn't run flawlessly? When you floor it, is there a delay? Do you drive with a light or a heavy foot?

Cng fitted cars have bad mileage, get it petrol tuned from an expert, remove the kit and then enjoy it.

new air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, injector cleaner, octane booster, cleaned TB, correct and clean sensors, correct tire pressure,7-800 idle rpm, no current missing, healthy coils, and light foot are some factors contributing a little to fuel economy

If the car is CNG fitted, the following things might be affecting your fuel mileage negatively:

    1. The amount of air reaching the engine restricted by a good margin
    2. The reduced spark plug gap
    3. The extra passenger at back at all times (cylinder)

If you want the optimum economy, start by removing the cylinder and correcting these things. You can leave the kit and all wiring intact.

Can tunning be disturbed? I mean I just had it done 2500 kms before and I remember the first time after tuning I had a very good average, but then with every day it started to reduce.

So I really do not know what is disturbing the fuel average. I have had it checked twice with the computer and everything was ok.

But recently my car has been constantly knocking on petrol, knocking sound is very low. I have even filled half tank with high octane, but the knocking is still there. I have also installed a new petrol filter.

Yours wasn't a decent car then. Have seen and used countless of them, the old shape gives around 21km/l at long and the new shape around 16. In local the new gives 14 whereas the old gave 17. These are one of the highest economy figures for petrol engines.

as to my understanding you have a FF cng in your car so there must also be a timing advancer please check it , it might be faulty. santro only knocks when there is a timing issue and timing issue can arise due to timing advancer.
