Generally speaking, Suzuki has always been associated with the term "Econoboxes" which means providing low-cost, economically affordable vehicles to the masses. When you think Suzuki, you ultimately think Mehran or Cultus as that is what the common man in Pakistan will go for: An affordable, economical car that just has 4 wheels and will move without costing a whole lot (P.S. mammoth premiums aside). When you think luxury, you think Honda or Toyota which will provide you just that, considering since their lineup has nothing below 1300CC. And also, the quality of their vehicles, while has deteriorated in the last few years, is still way better than Suzuki.
So a Suzuki Liana will definitely still not be able to change the mind of a person that can look for better luxurious options in the Corolla (???) or Civic. Now if it were a Honda Liana or a Toyota Liana; thats a whole different story.
Just my opinion. Anyone else?
