Can you know the error code of P1603 of Toyota Vitz. During driving when i applied brakes or when car is in lower RPM with AC ON my car is stop in between road and check engine light comes on. when i diagnose my car with OBD 2 device it shows P1603 and P1605 Error Codes. Previously there is no error code is recorded in ECU. Can anyone help me on this?

One more thing is there any difference between Knock Sensor or O2 Sensor?

Assalamo a laikum . Zulfiqar bhai i meed some advice.... i have honda city 06 i-dsi ... and on idle... the car is jittering a bit.. the rpm remaina a table at 700 but sitting in the car i can feel the little puffs and piffs... the air filter is new and clean.. the car is running on petrol and the plugs are in good condition as well..... whats wrong with it.. i dint want to get the throttle body cleaned as i dnt think thatll be the issue as the car is driven very less... litrally 50 100 km a week only... plus the fuel average is not that pleasing. Its around 12 a litre without ac whereas similae models go upto 18 a litre without ac. Kindly advise

you are experiencing a rough idle code - a cyl is not giving its full output power (seen at the crank sensor). There are about a dozen or so areas that are looked into for this problem, starting from fuel all the way to compression. - In simple terms the crank sensor is sensing irregular speed on the crank sensor tone wheel.

the other is a transmission control unit communication error, mind you this code can set if your engine stalls and your car is moving on the road and the key is ON, this will create an a fault and will be recorded by the ECU.

I think both codes are inter related in your case, does the engine idle rough? is the engine able to smoothly accelerate the car?

Nope... but i guess the report from the enercon tuneup center was ok.. the compression was good... so the guy said no need for tappet adjustment

Aoa, a bit worried about my city 2009 model, just bought. After the purchase i came to know that the car has been into an accident.
Problem i face is that when i apply brakes at slow speed there is some strange friction sound like pads leather has been eroded and the metallic base is against the rotor. But peeking through the alloy rims, there is thick enough leather. Also when i concentrated the sound was more prominent at front left wheel. I was just wondering that changing pads (cost 10000) would resolve the issue? Or there may be strut tower misalignment? Anyone to guide me on this in lahore in your opinion please?

Zulfiqar bhai, need advice

I have honda city 2014 model. Few months earlier i realised a "chu chu" type sound coming from left back door.(i checked, its from the plastic panel of the door).

Door makes such noise when i pull brake on road or when the road is rough. This is, really, becoming problem for me.

Kindly advise solution.

My wagon R is 10k driven. I have got it tuned from Suzuki authorized dealership 2 days ago. The problem is my car gives a jerk when I am driving in slow gears. When I accelerate it gives jerk( like some one pushes from behind sort of) when I lift foot to press brake it jerks. This is annoying and making driving worse experience. Also i feel pick is quite low. OBD scan revealed no error codes nor any history. dealership guys say this is normal but i know this less smooth experience cannot be normal. please advise what should i do. thanks

First Thanks for your valuable information. Yes i m experience rough idle when i applied brakes on car or when car is in low RPM or when car is in idle but pressing throttle pedal rough idle is reduced. About Engine Smoothly accelerate Yes its smoothly accelerate but there is one symptoms where i can know my car will gone stop is that before stopping my car is feeling like choking and produce some noise from engine bay and then stop and if during choking sound if i stop AC then the car is running fine and don't Stop

One more thing i noticed when my car is stopped When i start my car again immediately it taking longer self but car is not started after waiting for 1 - 2 minutes then i start again my car it will start normally without any longer self.

History of My Car maintenance:

Periodic Maintenance Done with Toyota Central Motors
Current Odo Reading: 120k
Engine Oil: Toyota Petron 20W50 (which stupid Toyota recommend)
Transmission Oil: Never changed after buying car (Almost driving 2 years 6 months - around 39K kms) But i have checked oil from Toyota and they said oil condition is fine and don't need a change
Spark plug: Never Changed Spark Plugs as Toyota technician said Spark plugs are fine

This is my car history in order to troubleshoot better

Can 20W50 Viscosity Oil can cause this issue... is it possible?

@xulfiqar I have a W126 S300 1981 (Diesel). Some engine oil's been seeping out (a couple of drops per day). I need to have it checked out by a good mechanic. If I go to Shahnawaz, I'll probably come back with one arm and one leg. Can you recommend a good Mechanic for this car in Karachi who could have a look. I'm looking to get the thing fixed before it becomes a bigger issue.
