It depends A LOT on how and where you drive your car, but what ever oil you use do not go for KIXX.
Many local mechanics are against usage of ZIC oils , but I have personally driven cars upto 3lac kms on ZIC A, ZIC XQ without any problem, some seepage of oils is common to every car that is driven on longer journeys. I Change ZIC XQ at 10,000km and ZIC A at 8k. ZIC A+ used to be 10-40 before but now its 0-20 (for very cold region) so I switched to ZIC A (semi synthetic) 10-40.
You can change back to Synthetic oil / Mineral oil anyday cause most synthetics are also based on mineral base oil. Small mixing doesnt make a difference.
Caltex is a good oil and I beleive ARL (attock oil refinery) provides the base oil to Caltex but it has too many fakes in market. KIXX is bad oil, you will see your crank singing to you in few km,s.
Shell is the most pathetic oil here in PK, infact too many suzukis had their engines replaced due to their corporate setting with shell, now they are back to ZIC. I even used Shell (Singapore based imported) and It was burnt in extreme temperatures of Punjab. Shell is good in advertising only. For local driving its OK but not for long continuous drives.
So the point is that 70-80% oil sellers in market sell fake oils because we always leave our fancy oil cans with them, always put a hole in it so that it can not be used again and again and again, So we can not base our judgement on a company just because we got fake oil for our car. ZIC is good in distribution and I did a check at a very Haji saab style type shop near jhelum for a pack of grease and they confirmed the batch number and workshop name on phone.
