Got a Ticket on Fancy Number Plates :/

Today while returning from university I got a ticket in front of serena hotel islamabad for fancy number plates, I dont understand the fact as of yet that what is the criteria of fancy number plates?? I have a yeallow background plate with chrome numbers and characters, what's wrong with that? and is there any specified criteria for this thing? or just jo hath lag gaya scene chal raha hai bhai?

you will get away with the after market ones as long as you dont have hipster,punk influenced plates or have enormous amount of SWAG that depicts itself in the numberplate design
your plates were not road legal you got a ticket end of story

in Islamabad, the accepted pattern is black on white. written simply and readable.

all others are not road legal and subject to be fined

Absolutely right you are, i thought the same way and it was quite obvious from his behaviour and the best part was when i was coming back after paying the ticket a huge crowd had ganged him up so something might had happen there

He was in no senses to talk to him like a good citizen at all, completely looked out of his mind therefore I was in no mood to argue with such a person. The name was Attaullah. I asked him to show me how much is the prescribed ticket if there is something wrong with the number plate and he failed to show me that, by which i assumed that it is un-necessary to argue with this guy.

Fancy plate = not using original plates...

Bhai kafi time se ITP waley is issue pe kam kar rhy hain. adds b news me de chuky hain about original plates. magar itna moassar step nhy liya gya bus jo hathay char gya usi ki khal utaro...
ap ki bad luck k agar wo gup shup me masruf hoty to bach hi jaty aap.

wesey yellow plates are not allowed bkz wo sindh k template hai, baki areas k liye allow nhy hai (as per my information)

normally they dont behave like this n are pretty cooperative even when handing out a challan

as for ticket amount,you should just check the back of your challan,that shows a complete list of things for which u can be challaned n their amounts.

I fail to understand why people Use any type, size or shape of number plate other than as mentioned or provided by the motor vehicle authorities all over Pakistan.

You should use the ones provided by motor vehicle registratioin dept or the ones copied to the same font and size apart from color of the no. plates.

It is due to the reason that if you use original number plates and if you frequently park your car in such areas where number plates gets stolen then your life becomes miserable when getting duplicate number plates and at the time of selling the car not only it looses value but also interest of buyers so this is the reason which forces me to use a plastic plate otherwise i am a no fan of fancy plates
