Help/suggestion required for purchasing a laptop/PC

hi i have a budget of maximum 30k
i want to know if i go for a USED laptop NOT NEW,then with which spec laptops i can get?
OR
if i go for a NEW/USED PC,then what i can get in this range......
ppl who know the market prices n all,their suggestions r required

lcd=10k 19inch(can i find any new one in this price)
total almost 48000rs

there's a shop in isl micro world business,2225677,they said they r whole sale dealers n offered me a core 2 duo HP laptop nc 6400 with 1gm ram n finger print option for 28800rs

i have visited blue area today.....
core i3 fits in my budget but without graphic card n core 2duo with graphic card,is there much of difference between 2 processors? other than the price factor?

U should go for core i3 because its latest with new technology such as hyper threading. I played GTA IV on it and the FPS was 35 to 40 great performance. Core 2 duo is older now. Core i3 is 32nm while core 2 duo is 45nm.

listen man if u wana use for general net surfing and daily use get the core i3 but if u wana play thori bohat ya kafi games go for core 2 duo as the graphic card counts a lot in a pc. So according to me go for a good processor of core 2 duo series with a good graphic card and abho thori ram lagwana if out of budget. cuz ram is cheap (ddr2) baad mein u can upgrade it. i hope it helps

well these r the option for me: (whole sale rates)
core 2 duo 2.93ghz + 41RQ mother board =15000rs
2gb ddr2 ram=3600,500gb hdd=4000,dvd super drive=2000 samsung,casing starts from 1500minimum,graphic card 9500 gt=5000rs
this all sums up around 31.5k em not buying lcd for now,going to use same old monitor....

or

core i3 2.93ghz + 55hc mother board =18000
2gb ddr 3 ram=4000,500gb hdd=4000,dvd super drive=2000 samsung,casing starts from 1500minimum
this all sums upto 32k almost without graphic card,just built in shared card of 128mb
please help me out

btw is it possible to find a used core i series pc in islamabad/pindi?

get the core i3 and later buy a decent graphics card when u have money., and atleast get ati 5650..

9500gt is not for gaming..

by the way phenoms are not available in pk ?

there was one ati's 1gb card for 5500,n 9500gt was 512mb for 5000,then shop guy told me that ati must b 64 bit n 9500gt is 128 bit

corei3 530 + asus P7H55-V very good combo and very good overclocker board and indeed corei3 has alot of potential later on add a good gpu but for that invest some money buying a good power supply like corsair and donot buy coolermaster psu they are shitty crap
