Machi places in your city

I was in Kalam in good old days (2004) with the family and got the taste of trout. It was amazing but very expensive, 700-800 per kg. Don't know the rates nowadays.

Interestengly noone has discussed trout, but if anyone got the chance have a try, you won't like any other fish.

Just a query is trout available elsewhere?

was in lahore yesterday and had the worst fish ever...
we went to Dar ul Mahi on bahawalpur road .. the sitting area was bad, the service was bad, and the fish was worst. it had a bitter taste, the roti's being served were of the previous day and chatni was like tomatoes mixed in water.

I guess Shahbaz Sharif forced us to stop there, koz all the area over there was totally ruined..
We were stuck at wahdat road, ferozpur road etc for like hours...
my car's front wheel bearing and hub broke while driving on the crush.

​The usual problem with these fish outlets here is that v few of them have a good parking, most of them are without proper parking place. So you have to find a vacant parking your self nearby.
bashir at qaddafi is better in this case, parking lot is quite big there. but order delivery time at bashir is quite long.

Hassan Square wali tou bekar ho gayi hy, Yadgaar at Jamshed Road is good. BOTS (Biryani of the Seas) has vast variety of sea foods, tasted some and found great.....but bit expensive.

Had a fish at Khadda Fish Corner in barkat market. it was v tasty, v light and oil free fish.
