In Multan you may love to eat, no doubt a very tasty and delicious (in my personal experience and their sale volume also demonstrate)==

1- Sheedan @ kotla tolay khan road near ghanta ghar chow toward 8# chungi . (further they fry chicken pieces in the same oil (sarsoon ka tail) in which fish is fried, Its realy realy very tasty too, even it remain so tender and juicy either after it cool down.
2- Allah Wassaya @ Khuni Burj near Pak Gate chowk toward Dehli Gate chowk, its another old and very famous shop and has taste as well.
--These Both have desi setups but a lot lot lot of sales volume and famous too.
--Both are 4-5 km apart from each others main branches
--Rate aprox 500-600/Kg. for fish. and @120/per chicken Piece.

In Pindi, Pirates' Kitchen on Iran Road is the place. In Islamabad, Chicken 'n' Chips in E-8 sells delicious fish. Rout66 in F-8 ranks #2 though due to ease of access, I often land up there.

I catch my own fish, at times when I can't BOTS is where I go, the freshest fish in Karachi can be had there, and a LOT of variety.

You know the Dubai plaza side of sixth road? Next to that building is Satellite Shopping Center. Just as that ends comes a T junction. Turn right and you're on it! A little further comes a STUPID container of Pizza Hut too in case you're familiar with that.

i also had the same guess about Iran Road/Khana-e-Farhang road. This road runs parallel to Murree Road, starting from at the back of Dubai Plaza to Chandni chowk. Perhaps its called Iran/Farhangg Road because there is called some Iranian cultural center/Khana-e-Farhangg Iran near to that container-pizza-shop.

Anyways! In Karachi there is dhaba on hasan square (rate is around 600+ per KG). Another dhaba is at nursery bus stop.

And the one and only pomfret fish is sold near city court (never went there) but my colleague brings that whenever we ask him.

Someone (fish guru) told me that whenever u buy fish, always ask for female fish, it is very delicious than male fish.

The machli wala knows, i ask them keh agar nur hui to wapis kar doon ga. in female fish, there are ovaries when they cut it. Initially it seemed a joke to me, but machli walay theirselves admit that only a machi fan knows this thing.

was in lahore yesterday and had the worst fish ever...
we went to Dar ul Mahi on bahawalpur road .. the sitting area was bad, the service was bad, and the fish was worst. it had a bitter taste, the roti's being served were of the previous day and chatni was like tomatoes mixed in water.
dont go there guys, seriously
