How to find a job in Dubai?

Salam, guys I am in dubai right now on a long term visit visa and will be here till the 24th of March 2013. I am looking for a job desperately and need advises how to find one. I have a CCNA, CCNP and CCIP certifications and an engineering degree attested by UAE consulate, MOFA and HEC is readily there to be processed for employment visa.
I don't seem to have any clue what should I do now, have asked all the contacts to do the needful but doesn't seem to be working. Please advise me what I should be doing? I came here on 28th December 2012 and have already wasted more than half a month and empty handed. I desperately need a job here since I have already resigned from my job in Karachi (as some of the members know here since I had a detailed discussion of why I wanted to do that).

Get hold of job hunters... they charge fee to find you a employment in your field

Try searching good head hunters, heard from my friend British head hunters in Dubai are the ones at top. He is also planning to visit Dubai end if this month in search of job and he was saying end of jan and start of feb are the right months/time for job hunting there. I don't have my own experience but that Clair friend of mine is working on it I will try to get further info and share with you here

konse days main jobs aati hain?? I bought gulf news on saturday and today and there are only a couple of jobs that too irrelevant to my experience.

55 bhai are you using linkedin? if not, i would advise you to quickly make an account there and start exploring the new professional world, i can say for surety it is far better then any online job searching web site on internet.

What I have heard is that, people do get offers but it never reaches to the final stage. Mostly recruiters contact and the companies don't want to pay to these recruiters. If I am wrong then please correct me.
