Google Play Store not working on WiFi

Yesterday, i bought a Sony Xperia C. The play store worked perfectly on WiFi then. But since this morning, i have been facing "no connection" error constantly. Note that this error is only on WiFi (FYI I am using PTCL Broadband), on mobile data I can use play store perfectly. All other sites are also opening perfectly on WiFi. I googled around & found that this error is pretty common. Some of the remedies I have tried so far are:

1- Automatic date, time & time-zone. Date time are 100% correct.
2- Clearing cache of Play Store.
3- Removing & re-adding google account. When i add another account, it says "cannot establish connection to server".
4- Turning on/off air-plane mode.
5- Re-booting mobile.

None of them seemed to work. Has anyone else here faced this issue & managed to rectify it? Kindly help me.

Sry for being offtopic.. I too am experiencing issues with google services on worldcall cable internet. I gt a new router yesterday, is it becoz of that? Becoz when i switch to ptcl, everythings working bt when i switch back to other network, its nt syncing at all whereas everything else is working fine. Primary dns is 8.8.8.8 n secndry 8.8.4.4.. Anyone having same issues? Any remedy fr this?

Yesterday i bought new voice V50 Playstore was working fine but few hours later it stopper working date and time was set i cleared the cache and reset it then problem was solved but now again same problem occured!

Or maybe sometimes our ISPs block these website by their so called high end Firewalls.

I even did a factory reset, still not working.

Now using Mobogenie as alternate.

I heard pta has been blocking some android services relating em somehow to youtube

This also happened last year, I guess google might have closed it for maintenance purpose!

It has started working for me. I guess it is really PTA messing with the firewall and stuff.

If you have tried everything mentioned in the post, then I guess it will get okay by itself. There is nothing more you could do. I also gave up, but in the evening it started working all of a sudden.

It.happens ... Sometimes ISP get blocked and it opens after.few.days. try using some other WiFi other than ptcl and then see it will works

I didn't have access to any other WiFi. Anyway, the problem has disappeared by itself for now. I guess the ISP was blocked or something.
