Nothing to worry about. Its gonna b fixed in a day or two max. Theres nothing wrong with ur cell, ur modem or ur router.

I think there is some problem with PTCL end, I've checked on three different places where PTCL Broadband was installed and at all places PlayStore was not working. It was working randomly.

It worked 3 days ago in Lahore on PTCL Broadband, didn't work after that.

Not in my case. It looks as if gmail is connected but does not syncs new mails.
Also if u log out, u wont be able to log back in

I don't usually reply on discussion forms, but since I am also the victim of OP issue so thought I should share. I have been facing this issue (on and off) for over 3 months. Has any once notice "Sign in to WIFi" message on notification bar, it is also very common. Looks like PTCL blocks the plays store and other google services from time to time on android devices, its completely random and looks kind of automated. And this goes for most of the google services (someone mentioned Gmail app out of sync above). It is happening with my Huawei G700 right now on my PTCL. Next door someone has Wi-Tribe (open), when i connected that, I instantly received emails and an app stated to update as well. Only way around is VPN (there are many). But since we are the slaves of PTA, we have to deal with it... Ramazan Mubarak...

Yes whenever i connect to Network it says (sign in to wifi) what is this?

Not exactly sure what it is but it does has something to do with ISP blocking Google services. Whenever it comes up in notification bar, my play store along with some other google services goes down. Right now play store is up, although it was down couple of hours ago.

I am not Android users but this problem can be solve if you run VPN on your phone then open PlayStore

This is not a problem with the internet , its the problem with the OS . If factory reset , clearing the cache is not working it means the problem is with the OS. Try flashing the ROM with odin. It will solve the issue. if you're using a custom rom in youe cell, make sure you have installed the correct google apps package for that rom.

If the issue is with OS then why it is random and not consistent? And why the issue resolves once the VPN gets connected? It's clearly not the android os problem.

i faced the same problem yesterday but now its working fine, just restart ur phone and login your google account.

Nothing to worry folks...

Go to settings...Date and time...Change the time zone to any other country..Eg GMT+8 malaysia...Restart your cell...Then open play store..
